[HDCP 2.2] Had previous experience with a dual port DVI and VGA StarTech KVM and this one is just as good. Yes, the hot keys don't work with a wireless keyboard but I suspect that is more a function of the keyboard driver than the KVM switch, since the last unit I had also had a wireless keyboard and mouse and was flawless in its operations. It would be nice if the DVI connectors were just a smidgen (metric) further apart from one another, but these are minor issues that have nothing to do with the quality or the operation of the unit itself. I love the fact that this is a metal housing; makes it stay put and feels high quality. 5 |

[Extension] I'm using several of these to extend RF wireless keyboard receivers in several rooms in my home to a KVM matrix switch that's located in a rack in the basement. These inexpensive extenders replaced far more expensive Startech KVM console extenders (I was only using the USB capability) and simplified the configuration by taking up less space and eliminating some wall wart power supplies. The money I can recover by selling the Startech extenders will more than pay for these. Highly recommended. 5 |

[0.85 lb] I'm using this to convert a PS/2 keyboard to USB and feeding that into a KVM. I haven't noticed any issue at all, the adapter seems to work seamlessly. 5 |

[41 lb] I needed to switch between two laptops that needed to use the same USB keyboard, USB mouse, and monitor using a VGA connector. The IOGear 2-port USB KVM switch is compact, with plenty of attached cables for both computers, and a very handy push-button switch on a long dedicated cable that allowed me to hide the KVM and position the switch right in front of my monitor. I am very pleased with the unit. 5 |

[1.56 lb] I have been hunting around for a new keyboard because I wanted to have a spare since Apple no longer makes the aluminum keyboard (yes you can still find them), but I also was interested in retiring the KVM I had been using. I knew choosing a keyboard was going to be very difficult because I am ridiculously picky. I looked at a number of mechanical keyboards, some costing upward of $200 plus. A friend was also looking for a replacement keyboard for his Logitech that died. We had chatted about the Matias and he ended up purchasing one. He absolutely loved it, so I decided to give it a go as well. Yes, it really is about as close to the Aluminum Apple keyboard (wired) you can get. The keys are slightly lighter (requires less pressure to actuate), but the keys feel nice. I had no problems pairing the keyboard with several Macs and an iPhone. I suspect I could connect the keyboard to my KVM with a BT module and have eight devices, but that would be silly, but tempting. :) Overall, this is a very nice keyboard, but of course, choosing a keyboard is really personal, so your millage may vary. 5 |

[3 W] I have been using a pair of these for two 1K monitors switching between Windows (at first W7 and now W10) and Linux (Kubuntu) for several years now. I have never had much of a problem with them. I have always used a wired keyboard with them which suits my needs since I use it on a desktop. I have also always used a Logitech M510 wireless mouse with them and that worked perfectly, including forward/back side buttons which I use frequently in Linux to switch between virtual desktops. I have never had to touch the settings in the KVM, which means mouse emulation has always been on. However, one of them died, sort of. It got worse and worse. I think they must have some kind of low power processor in them that deals with them mouse emulation and keyboard functions. I could no longer communicate with it via the keyboard nor did my scroll wheel or side buttons work on the mouse. Intermittently at first, but permanently at the end. I switched the KM part of the KVM to the other one which still worked fine. I had trouble finding a replacement at some of the other big sites where you might expect to get them, but was happy to see the B&H had them in stock. And, as usual the shipping was prompt. The replacement works perfectly. I expect to get another bunch of years of service from it. 5 |

[AC Adapter] I was looking for a KVM switch that supported dual 4K@60 monitors and found this. Works great, and with the keyboard shortcuts, I can keep the switch under the desk, out of sight. For my setup, I have my work MacBook Pro and my personal Windows laptop connected to their own docks, and each dock connects to this KVM switch. I then have the monitors, keyboard/mouse, and webcam connected to this switch. With three keystrokes, my whole setup switches between the two laptops, which is just what I wanted. 5 |

[Yes] Compared to a cheaper KVM I was using before this is a big step up in functionality. I was having issues with my keyboard getting confused and not working when switching. This KVM avoids that issue. I appreciate that it has a USB 3 hub. I like that the switch can be triggered from the keyboard. I only wish that the case was smaller for the two port version. 5 |

[1x RJ-45 Female] We use several USB KVM's and this one is great for two reasons: 1. it comes complete with a full set of cables, and 2. it has keyboard commands that allow switching capability from the keyboard if the KVM itself is not located conveniently in the rack. - I have ordered more of these. [0.6 lb] I bought this a few months ago to help with repairing offline servers. Now I don't have to worry about the KVM, keyboard, monitor or mouse work (or are missing) at the remote site. This also works with Windows 10 5 |
