To use an external or any other device that uses a usb port, you'll need this adaptor. I also recommend getting an adapter that has a mini USB port on the adapter so you can keep your tablet charging while you use it with the USB device. 5 |

[ 3.5" HDD ] Have always found LaCie to be reliable. With these be careful with order you plug cables in -- if go out of order you hear a clunking sound from drive, if do in order no problems. To reconnect/power up: 1) discount both USB cable and power cable from drive. 2) Next connect power cable to drive. 3) Then connect USB but first connect to drive, then to computer. Read this advice somewhere and it works. 5 |
