[1x 32 GB] Purchased a Legion Slim 7 AMD Advantage (16", 6900HX CPU, 6800S GPU, 16 GB DDR5, 1TB SSD) Model:82UG0002US. The manufacturer (Lenovo) website stated maximum upgrade was 24 GB total (8GB soldered onto motherboard and 16GB replaceable DIMM). After reading forums and coming across a great deal on Kingston for Fury DDR5 32GB DIMM module, I decided to try this upgrade. After modifying the configuration to 8GB soldered and 32 GB replaceable, my motherboard had no issues identifying the total amount of RAM available. Also, I ran multiple memory diagnostics against the newly upgraded memory configuration and have had daily use of the laptop for about 7 days with no issues arising. I need the additional memory to maintain my laptop virtual machine environment for work related needs and training. But also desired a slim laptop with professional looks even though I casually game AAA titles on my free time. Very happy with this upgrade! 5 |
