Laptop Computer Bed Mount

[95%] We don't currently own a field generator, so I purchased this voltage inverter to power a field teleprompter and, at times, a laptop computer. It does both perfectly well. Previously I had another battery unit that only came with a single proprietary rechargeable battery included with it. So, when the battery died it sent the crew scrambling to find an electrical outlet and run very long extension cords (which isn't always possible in the field). Since I already have multiple V-Mount batteries for cameras and LED lighting fixtures, I can just swap out batteries quickly if one dies. Great solution! No more production delays or concerns that the teleprompter won't make it through the day. I'm actually looking to purchase another one because there is only one outlet on the unit (the only downside). This would allow me to power both our teleprompter and laptop computer simultaneously in the field. I thought the unit was going to be made of 100% plastic per the picture, so I was surprised to find out that the body (other than the actual V-Mount plate) is made out of metal. Another positive! That being said, the unit isn't very heavy which is less load to pack and carry in the field (the weight will come from your V-Mount battery(s)). It's just what I was looking for!

[Touchpad] The keyboard really makes the iPad function more like a laptop. the iPad floats above the keyboard at adjustable angles from desktop to sitting in bed. Yet I can still hold it sideways and read the iPad like a book portrait style. I'm delighted. I upgraded from the old keyboard/cover and this is far superior.

[9.475 lb] This product is perfect for my laptop! I watch movies in bed, work in my lazy boy, and even take on road trips. Love it!

[8 GB] Laptop runs better than the 8 GB that my computer came with that was running.

[0.8 lb / 360 g] My special use: I bought this not used in kitchen. I convert it into lazy bed holder mount which is mounted above the head of my bed just above my pillow.(see photo). Pros: (1) super clamping force: It clamps my iPad mini upside down very securely above my face while I am lying on bed. One clamp end has built-in Spring underneath to enhance clamping force. Both ends of clamps have grooved rubbers for slip falling. Super Safe clamping design is my priority to ensure 'zero accident of falling down' to my face. Falling iPad direct to my face must be catastrophic. (2) Foldable and detachable: The mount holder is also detachable from Aluminum Base. It can be folded up from head to toe into a flat shape ( approximate iPhone box thickness) and put into e.g. backpack. (3) Rotation 360'

[Black] The Impact MC-03 Magic Clamp not only is very useful for desks, but also very useful for bed frames! This is going to be my primary use, watching YouTube and movies hands free while I lay down facing up nice and comfortable with my pillow.  This reduces fatigue holding a phone in bed for hours and trying to watch my content sideways and still having to hold the phone. Not anymore! The gooseneck is made of metal, everything else is plastic. There are two types of people, the ones that break everything they touch, others who like to add a little finesse handling things. The ABS plastic is a hard plastic material, so the plastic clamp that attaches to surfaces, I find it sturdy, has a strong bite. The phone holder being made of plastic, even loading with a heavy iPhone ProMax, it holds the phone fine, there is NO NEED to over tighten the ball mount. That is the ONLY part that requires a little finesse. This in my hands will last a long time. Yes, it would be nice if the whole unit was made of metal. but it's going to cost more of course. Pros:  1-Very flexible (and metal) gooseneck, and even mounting in a bed frame which gravity will want to pull the gooseneck down, it stays! The phone holder can tilt a little, allowing minor adjustments to be exactly parallel to my face mounting it on my bedframe frame and at a perfect height. 2-Clamp has a nice bite. Cons: 1- Phone mount plastic parts may be a little fragile for some users. Just be gentle with the phone holder ball mount and you'll be fine. You do NOT need to over tighten.
