Laptop Computer Wi Fi Adapter

[USB-A (USB 2.0)] The Netgear Wi-Fi Adapter was easy to install, in my old HP Computer. It provides my household with a very fast internet connection. This is exactly what was needed for my computer and TV streaming.

[2] I used this to improve the speed of my wi-fi on a pretty old computer. This device more than doubled the speed.

[1] Very happy with this purchase. The computer came equipped with a 500 GB SSD drive and no Wi-Fi. I added an Asus PCE-AX58BT Wi-Fi Adapter and a 6 TB WD Black 3.5 internal hard drive, both of which were relatively easy to install. I did have to purchase a SATA cable for the hard drive separately. I recommend at least an 18 SATA cable with right angle head on it.

[2] When I got a new router that supports Wi-Fi 6 I discovered both that the 5Ghz wi-fi band is capable of much higher bandwidth than 2.4Ghz and that my computer only supported the 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi frequency. So this adapter not only gives my computer the ability to connect via 5Ghz it also supports Wi-Fi 6 so my Wi-Fi connection is now much faster. Zoom sessions are now stable and free of glitches.

[18.5 dBm] The HP DevOne laptop was a great Linux-based laptop with one glaring flaw: Wi-Fi 5. This Intel AX200 card is the perfect drop-in replacement for the original. Not a single complaint from me.

[6 Months] This is the fourth one of these that I've used because the design is perfect for my needs. The first two were wi-fi but this and the third one are bluetooth. I use #3 with my Dell laptop and #4 with a MacBook Pro. They flatten out to switch them off which saves the battery and store easily in a laptop case or even temporarily in a shirt pocket. The two AAA alkaline cells last about four months with daily use, even though I sometimes forget to switch them off.

[Internal] My really old laptop had problems picking up weaker wi-fi signals. I added an A8000 and the problem was solved.

[10 W] Add Gigabit Ethernet port to laptop. The Yoga 6 build-in Wi-Fi is unstable, & it doesn't come with Ethernet port. Adding this adapter would allow it to connect the network with stable wired connection. With the extra USB ports, you can connect more accessories such as wireless mouse & keyboard.
