Large Projector Screen Ceiling

[1 Year] I saw a lot of bad reviews on this at various sites but got it based on epson reputation. Installed the module in an epson G7905U that is mounted 12 feet up in a large room with 18 ft ceiling. The product works just as discribed and is a great option for connecting to the projector with all kinds of WiFi devices phone, tablet, laptop no local WiFi or internet is required to connect to the projector and range is good even in a large room space 80' by 130' room with 18 ft ceiling. The app is easy to use and has several useful options I would definitely recommend this well worth the money.

[Floor mounted] This screen was installed in a small conference room with an NEC projector. The screen can be wall or ceiling mounted, and this flexibility came in handy when we had to switch to a ceiling mount at the last moment. The screen presents very well, and is unobtrusive when retracted. The tensioning system works nicely, and we didn't have to change any of the factory settings for the drop. I would have liked to see some additional mounting holes for attaching the screen to studs in the wall, so the installer has more options for wall mounting.

[2.85 lb] This projector is ceiling mounted 21' from the 10' wide screen and works perfectly in our church for displaying songs, announcements, etc. The brightness is good and the visual quality is good too. It meets our expectations. Would like to have had a REAR infrared detector for turning on/off - but other than that - it totally meets our needs.

[7 lb / 3.2 kg] I replaced an old ceiling mount that was hard to adjust and never would quite line up the projector to the screen correctly. The Gabor solidly connects to the ceiling stud, and the other half which attaches to the projector the projector slides in and out of the ceiling mount with ease. The two thumb dials adjust the projector to the exact position needed quickly and easily. It is compact and close to the ceiling, important for our low basement ceiling. I hesitated because I didn't see many reviews, which is why I am writing this review--the smart design of the Gabor makes me regret putting up with the old mount for way too long.

[Backpack Straps] I have about a 17 ft square family room with windows and ceiling ductwork. I needed something very bright so my wife would sit with me watching movies or (more importantly) my hockey games. She refuses to sit in the dark, and has to be able to read her magazines. The very short throw table top projector with 2300 lumens on a 109 1.1 gain screen works great. Sitting 15 ft from the screen means I don't need 1080p for a clear picture. I never use the bright setting, as the color gets too muddy, and it should make the lamp last longer. The lack of adjustments mean you really would not want to put it in a fixed position from a ceiling mount. Small movement is a big change in the picture. And as it ships inside a backpack, it really is portable so I will be taking it to my remote cabin. The screen and projector set me back about a quarter of the price of the 61 sony rear projection 275 lb system I bought in 1999 that this replaces.

[ARC, eARC] This projector is now installed on my ceiling, and is for home theater use with a 100 inch screen. I have had it about a week now and am completely blown away. Until now my only exposure to 3D has been in movie theaters. The HD66 is comparable to this experience, mostly limited by my sound system. You do have to adjust the factory settings but when done WOW. The only negative I have is it requires the use of an adapter (3D-XL) to view Bluray 3D movies. However, for a combined price of less than a grand, it can't be beat. I would highly recommend its purchase by others.

[Manual: 1.1x] This is an excellent data projector for someone who likes to display their work onto a large screen. Super bright and easy to carry.

[1.94 to 2.16:1] The projector worked out excellently for my needs of projecting my latest movie on a large screen where I had the premiere. The person at B & H who helped me find what I needed was very helpful and, since the projector was on sale, was an even better experience than what I expected. Overall it was a grade A purchase and something I can use in the future. Joe Nuccio

[210 W] Now that I have used the projector several times, I can say that it is even better than expected. Good images in a large hall with a very large screen to fill.
