[1] I purchased this along with the Rode Rodelink Lav microphone. The thread-lock on the 3.5mm connector of the lav fits perfectly with connector on the Rode VXLR+. This allows me to belt-clip (included) the converter to the talent and run an XLR mic cable back to the mixer with phantom power when needed in place of connecting the lav to a bodypack for wireless use. It also works with the non-locking 3.5mm connector of the Rode Lavalier Go mic but this combination gives more assurance that the mic's connector won't pull out of the adapter. 5 |

[Plug-In Power] I had to replace the lav microphone for an Azden WR-PRO wireless mic pack (not the microphone's fault... it literally was trampled by the talent...). I tried some quick replacements while this was in the mail, but I was glad when the package showed up since nothing could match the sound of the original. It has great pick-up while also ignoring a lot of background noise, such as a busy highway or a crowded convention hall. If you have an Azden pack, BE SURE TO GET THIS MIC. If you get an electrocet mic that is powered by a battery, you get a bad buzz in the audio line. The only con I have seen is that the tie-clip included is a bit flimsy, doesn't really grip well and is easy to lose. 5 |

[Lightning Male] After buying a USB-C lav mic which I intended to use with my MacBook and my iPhone (with an adapter), I soon realized that while there are adapters to plug a USB mic into an iPhone lighting port, there aren't any for USB-C mics. The only USB-C to lightning adapters I could find would not work with audio, only charging. The Comica Audio adapter allows me to use two adapters -- USB-C to USB to Lightning -- to use my lav mic on my iPhone. 5 |
