Lead Acid And Lithium Ion Batteries

[750 VA] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this running for a couple weeks now and couldn’t be happier. I’ve installed this quite easily in my wall rack and have to say I am very happy with it’s performance and solid build quality. It’s as plug and play as you’re going to get. I find myself often looking over to see that it running as it’s very quiet and the fan only turns on when the load get’s to a certain levelEven then I just don’t hear it. Seems to be very efficient with low heat. This unit also has the lithium-ion battery and seems to weigh less than half the weight (just over 30lbs) of my older lead acid battery unit and smaller in overall size. In the long run I feel it’s going to be much more cost effective replacing the lithium-ion battery over time as they’re just getting cheaper and last longer than the older lead acid batteries. From an aesthetics point of view, I feel the unit is nicely designed and appealing. The multi-function LCD is easy to use and view various in-depth metrics. If you’re in the market looking for a smart ups or to replace a older lead acid unit then I highly recommend the APC smart-ups. Good quality brand and dependability.

[0.195 lb] Lithium Ion batteries are notoriously mislabeled for capacity. I use these for camera stabilizers and flashlights, and expect performance. This Nitecore battery provides the full labeled current with minimal voltage drop. I have cycled one of my three four times, and performance was fully maintained. The only issue was with my chargers - the batteries would show fast charging, but never quite finish. Removing the battery and reinserting showed a fully charged battery, suggesting an issue with both chargers. Performance is very good.

[Black] 50W is very loud! Lightweight Lithium Ion rechargeable batteries. Very easy to use. I especially like the 10 second built-in memory.

[0.115 lb] I do not like spare lithium Ion batteries floating around in a case or bag. And why Profoto does not provide a custom pouch for their batteries is quizzical. After reviewing many of the third-party pouches available, these LensCoat BatteryPouches fit the bill. A lengthy video chat with a patient and very helpful B&H CSR was critical in finding the right product! Thank you Dave!

[1.93 lb] These batteries can be used for different pieces of equipment that take the NP-F 6600mAh lithium-ion batteries and the charger it comes with is extremely compact and works great.

[0.025 lb] This is my first time purchasing rechargeable Lithium Ion batteries with a built-in USB charging port. That's a very convenient way to charge the battery especially if you forgot the adapter at home.

[450 nm] This light is compact, very bright, and uses common AAA batteries instead of the more costly lithium ion rechargables. Overall a great little light for use around my shop. The only thing I don't know yet is how long the LED will last. However as a guide, I have had a 4 DCell LED Maglight for around five years and it's still going stong.

[Audio-for-Video] I use this unit in the field for recording birds. It runs for hours and hours on Lithium Ion batteries. It's light, easy to use, and had great features, like locking XLR inputs, single folder storage of recordings, and it's 32 bit float.

[1.33 lb] As stated in the headline, it works, charges slower so the lithium-ion batteries last longer. I have the fast charger but bought this to condition the batteries over time. Fast charging all the time will shorten the life of your $$ battery.
