[4.35 lb] This is the goat when it comes to 35mm film camera. I 'm glad Leica is still making it. Love it! 5 |

[Black] This pouch fits my Leica M rangefinder with a 35mm lens & hood attached perfectly. I avoid dedicated camera bags, trying to be as inconspicuous as possible. With my camera protected with this pouch, I can safely toss it into a knapsack along with other stuff. 5 |

[-2 to 20 EV] I purchased the Leica MP with a 35mm F/2 Summicron and use this for general walk-around/travel photography. I don't consider myself a street photographer, but I've been intrigued with rangefinder cameras for quite some time. Build quality is amazing. The camera feels like a solid block of metal. I would have preferred a match needle meter instead of the LED lights, but there's really not much to complain about. I'm a left-eye shooter, so things can get a little uncomfortable with the winder, but I'm used to that from my older cameras. Holding the camera properly takes some getting used to. I found myself covering the rangefinder mirror on the right side by accident on a few occassions. Also, I wish faster shutterspeeds were available, but I understand there are limitations due to the type of shutter used. Overall, the MP is a pleasure to use, and is quickly becoming my favorite camera. 5 |

[Leica M] I recently decided to go back to using a digital Leica (M-262) as my primary camera. I was able to afford the purchase by selling my FujiFilm digital kit. To be honest, my cameras were several years old and getting a little long in the tooth. I figured I should sell them before they were worth pennies. I still own a Leica M6 35mm film camera and the most amazing FujiFilm X-100F digital camera. I already own two Leica lenses, a 1970 50mm f2 Summicron and a 90mm 2.4 Summarit. I felt the need for a faster lens. I already owned the Voigtlander 35mm 1.4 Nokton Classic which has great image and build quality so I eagerly awaited the release of the Voigtlander Nokton 50mm 1.2. This lens was anticipated to be an amazing alternative to the very expensive Leica 50mm lenses. I purchased my lens from B&H Photo in New York. I have always had good luck purchasing from them as they are very trustworthy and reputable. My Lens arrived new and amazingly well constructed as I expected. I do wish the lens came with the matching hood and maybe a dust pouch or bag. It just came in standard protective box and packaging (yawn). I think they are missing the mark by not adding some updated presentation packaging. I have found the lens to be very sharp and has a very nice Bokeh. Any lack of sharpness has been caused by being out of practice with the manual focus rangefinder, my eyes starting to age, astigmatism in my dominant eye and my now use of the dreaded spectacles. I am amazed at the image quality and construction of the Voigtlander. I have owned many 50mm lenses from different manufacturers to include the Canon 50mm L 1.2 and I have to say that this little guy (Voigtlander) takes the cake. It has amazing character to it. [3.1 x 3 x 0.7"] I have an old 35mm L39-mount lens I wanted to use on a Leica M-4 camera (in addition to the M-mount lens I normally use on that camera). It works very well, and for about fifteen bucks it is far cheaper than buying a 35 mm M-mount lens. 5 |

[Foam] It’s an orange filter and acts like an orange filter. It fits my 35mm Leica lens. What more can I say? 5 |

[Manual Focus] Leica M shooter for... years as well as Nikon owner. I switched to the Leica SL system with the Panasonic S1R and its 47 Mpix (did the same with Nikon Z7 and the Z 35mm lens) therefore I do have some ways to compare the two offerings. The Leica SL Apo-Summicron is always over performing the Nikon Z 35mm lens. Sharper - way sharper -everywhere on the field. Better color rendition too. No distortions visible (probably thanks to digital corrections). With the S1R/SL 35mm combo, the results are really above the M10P/Summilux 35mm, you got AF in the mix and twice the pixels count! Is this lens the new reference 35mm lens, I really think so... I have never seen this type of details and definition in any other systems before. Super expensive, very difficult to get (long waiting list), but the willing photographers will be rewarded with impressive results. 5 |

[Yes] If you are a Leica fan, a 35mm film shooter, and believe in the virtues of the rangefinder system, the MP will satisfy your needs. It is a lot of money, but it is a brilliant piece of gear that will do what you want it to do. I use two other Leica cameras, M6's, so this the perfect addition to my system. You will be glad you made the purchase. 5 |

[0.05 lb] Not as clinical looking results as my Leica 35mm lux. Exactly what I wanted. It to me, provides artistic nostalgic results not available anywhere else other than pre aspherical used lenses. Zeiss nailed it well done. The lens is sharp don't let anyone tell you otherwise. 5 |

[13.75 lb] Bought this to compliment my Leica R 35mm summicron in my Red Scarlet-W. This thing couldn’t be built or designed any better. The rubber “black hole” is a perfect choice if you’re going to be using vintage lenses. Make sure you have some sort of step up ring if your lens has a diameter smaller than 60mm or light will leak. I probably wouldn’t use it with lenses with a diameter larger than 82mm since it’s made of a thin rubber material and it might rip or stretch out too much. Looks miles better than baggy cloth though... The reason I went with the misfit is because I know that if I change lenses or if a client wants to work with other lenses, I can easily buy the other configurations to accommodate whatever I end up using. I know this is more expensive than most matte boxes but it’s worth it since this is the only matte box you will ever need. 5 |
