[Foam] It’s an orange filter and acts like an orange filter. It fits my 35mm Leica lens. What more can I say?

[Manual Focus] Leica M shooter for... years as well as Nikon owner. I switched to the Leica SL system with the Panasonic S1R and its 47 Mpix (did the same with Nikon Z7 and the Z 35mm lens) therefore I do have some ways to compare the two offerings. The Leica SL Apo-Summicron is always over performing the Nikon Z 35mm lens. Sharper - way sharper -everywhere on the field. Better color rendition too. No distortions visible (probably thanks to digital corrections). With the S1R/SL 35mm combo, the results are really above the M10P/Summilux 35mm, you got AF in the mix and twice the pixels count! Is this lens the new reference 35mm lens, I really think so... I have never seen this type of details and definition in any other systems before. Super expensive, very difficult to get (long waiting list), but the willing photographers will be rewarded with impressive results.

[Black] This pouch fits my Leica M rangefinder with a 35mm lens & hood attached perfectly. I avoid dedicated camera bags, trying to be as inconspicuous as possible. With my camera protected with this pouch, I can safely toss it into a knapsack along with other stuff.

[1x USB-C Input] Simply put the Lumix 16-35mm is an outstanding lens! I currently own Leica’s M 21mm SEM which is a gem. I’ve also owned the Leica SL 16-35mm which I eventually sold as I found it to be too big and heavy.  I also found that Leica’s SL 16-35 image quality doesn’t quite live up to all the hype, particularly when one factors in its exorbitant cost. The Lumix handily holds its own in the above mentioned company. It’s well built and yet it’s light with excellent handling. It balances beautifully on an Leica SL2. The image quality, colours and corner to corner resolution are all excellent. If one is looking for a wide angle lens that strikes the optimum balance between performance, cost and ease of use, the Lumix 16-35mm F4 L mount is in a class by itself.

[f/16] Quality lens at an affordable price. Would recommend. 28mm has become the new 35mm for many applications in the Leica M system.

[Metal] Bought this for my 7Artisans 35mm F/2 (43mm mount) that mounts on my Leica M6 TTL. It fits perfectly and it looks fantastic and it protects my lens. All metal construction that screws into my lens so it won't easily fall off and it has a great build quality. The only downside I suppose is that since it screws on to the lens you can't use this hood at the same time as your lens cap. This doesn't bother me the slightest though since I rarely use lens caps and the lens cap that came with the 35mm F/2 is garbage.

[1:5.3] I am a long-time Leica shooter and have been using several 35mm Summilux and Summicron M lenses. I listened to Mr. Peter Karbe's presentation on SL lens design, and appreciate the idea of increasing contrast to give viewers a stronger perception of the three-dimensionality of the image. I love to shoot wide-open to use maximum light designed for the lens. When shooting wide-open, Summicron-SL renders images similar to Summilux but retains the depth of field of F/2.0 which fits better to my needs. This lens is indeed the best of any lens designed to date by any technical standards. The image details are alive by the rich scales of micro-contrast and micro-tones. Of course, this is a super sharp lens, but the sharpness alone will not bring life to the images. We are talking about Leica magic here! I will not hesitate to choose this one over Summilux 35mm ASPH FLE or Summicron 35mm V4 Bokeh King for the image rendition. This Apo-Summicron-SL 35mm is truly a lovely lens technically and artistically.

[0.05 lb] I purchased this lens cap for my 35mm f3.5 Summaron, I NEVER want to lose a Leica lens cap. This Fuji Film cap fits securely and is quite easy to remove. I am a very happy purchaser.

[22mm] Apochromatic, sharp, low focus shift as you stop down. I love this lens on my Leica M11 for landscape work. The 35mm/2 Apo Lanthar M is also very good, but with a bit of focus shift towards infinity as you stop down on the 35mm.
