[3.75 lb] This is the right size for an M body and Summilux 50mm ASPH. I considered the larger one, but glad I ended up getting the short. Neoprene is protective but not especially thick, I use it inside another bag. Velcro closure is secure but loud.

[Manual Focus] I have not taken this lens off for over a month now and it is my go to lens. I have the Summilux-M 1:1.4/50mm ASPH which is a great lens too, but the 35mm seems to fit every occasion. It is compact in size and the construction with the metal hood and the smooth focus ring makes for a great lens. Low light is not a problem and I can shoot wide open in bright light without exceeding the 4,000 per second max.speed under most situations. I was lucky in being able to get this lens at B&H as there was a waiting list. When they become available one should get this lens. B&H is the only place I shop for camera gear and their service has always been great.

[0.5 oz / 14.2 g] The quality and performance of this lens hands down beats the Leica Summilux 35mm F/1.4 ASPH lens at less than half the price of the Leica.

[0.2x] Currently have this lens at the 50 Summilux ASPH on my Leica SL. While its hard to choose a favorite between the two I would say the 90mm has (a hair) better image quality but isn't quite as useful of a focal length as 50mm. This is quick to focus and reasonably on the smaller side of medium for lens size which is a perfect fit on the Leica SL2.

[Brass] Helipan filter is a must for my Leica Summicron 50mm APO ASPH lens. The prefect optics and has a number index allow mt to fine tune the sun reflect tone thought the filter.

[Flap, Zipper] Bought this for my Leica MP. It is extremely well padded. Fits my MP with 50mm Summilux on, 28mm Elmarit, handful of film, and a tiny umbrella perfectly. My only issue is that the amount of leather to grab to open the main compartment is a bit small, but then I guess that helps with theft deterrent. Also, I’m 5’9/165lbs and it fits me perfectly. I was worried it’d look too “man-bag” but it’s just right.
