[7.8 x 4.9 x 2"] Second one I’ve owned for Leica m series. Durable and fits well. Great case for an m camera. 5 |

[Canon EF] First, have a pair of tweezers or very small pliers on hand. Second, READ THE INSTRUCTIONS. Other than that, it's easy, and solid. NOTE: this is NOT meant to switch between lenses. If you have more than one Nikon/Nikkor lens, buy one for each. Once it's on there, you won't want to remove it. You can, just not very easily. Also, this does NOT support any AF or aperature or any other electronics. Manual only. I don't yet know the weather sealing on it, but I'm not about to test it. I think I'll keep this in the studio. I love being able to use my favorite old Nikkor nifty fifty again! 5 |

[22.4 oz / 636 g] Leica Q2 is a great camera; with the Handgrip it's an even greater camera. Makes the Q2 a one hand camera. 5 |

[42 mm, f/1.1] Typically high-quality product from Leica. Small and lightweight, so it is more likely to be in hand when you need it. 5 |

[0.345 lb] These are well made and perform just as they should. I can use the shorter one hand-held on my Lumix/Leica lenses with no problem. 5 |

[Shoe-Mounted] I've used one of these on the M240, M262 and now the M10-P and I think it's the single best thing you can buy for your camera. It makes the body much easier to hold/keep still. I've found I can hand hold at 1/30 consistently with the Thumbs Up on the camera, sometimes even 1/15. Leica got hip to it a couple years ago and started to make their own version for the M10, I had that one too. Theirs is more square, not as ergonomically sound, and $100 more expensive. The only thing the Leica version does better is it's shaped so you can fully read the "LEICA CAMERA MADE IN GERMANY", that the Match partially covers, on the back of the top plate. That's not a major concern for me. If trying to decide between the two the Match is much better in the hand. I've read some complaints about the paint wearing off. That's true, but it just reveals the brass beneath, which is even better as far as I'm concerned. Like breaking in a great pair of jeans. The black doesn't exactly match the black chrome of the M10-P, but neither do black Leica lenses and again, who cares? 5 |

[Autofocus] The Leica 100-400mm lens was purchased to go with my new Lumix G9II. My older long range combo, a Canon 60D (later 80D) and Sigma 150-600mm Contemporary lens was getting too heavy for these elderly muscles to hold steady, and the reach of the new equipment is almost as far and weighs 2 1/2 pounds less! You can see in the pictures the quality of the glass. Another plus is the improved auto focusing and great image stabilization combined with the G9II. In situations where the Canon/Sigma needed at least a monopod, the Lumix/Leica can be hand-held. All of the included pictures where shot hand-held and are heavily cropped, straight-from-camera jpgs. The zoom mechanism is stiffer than my other zooms. Although you can still shake it down, it won’t creep outward on its own while being carried vertically. I really like that. The zoom ring itself only needs a quarter turn for full travel, but I prefer pushing it in and out. The focus ring is perfectly smooth and the simplicity of attaching and removing the tripod foot can’t be better. The only thing I didn’t like is the focal length switch. It sticks up and is too easily tripped accidentally. The lens hood is a little weird, too. Otherwise I love this lens. It’s giving me some great close-ups from such a lightweight rig. 5 |

[Gold] Recently getting a new M (TYP262) & the Summarit-M 50mm f/2.3 lens (and SF40 flash) in the Leica bundled kit, I knew that a hard case would make immediate sense as a means to protect my new camera and investment. Although expensive, the Leica-branded half case is superbly manufactured, fits perfectly, safely protects the camera as intended, and, gives more support when hand-holding the M camera. I know feel that my camera is easier to hold securely and won't slip out of my hand. I have always been a big fan of grips and half cases with my other camera brands owned, and I'd say the workmanship and quality the Leica half case is worth the cost. I cannot imagine using an expensive M rangefinder and Leica lens without the leather half case in place. 5 |

[0.2 lb] Expensive for a strap. I got this to attach to a Leica M as I like to carry the camera in my right hand with the strap wrapped round my hand/wrist. This strap lets this happen more easily than the original Leica strap, which is more designed for 'over the shoulder' use. The strap can also be used round the neck. It is comfortable, but I wouldn't want it to be any shorter or narrower. I also like that it is quite low key in appearance no camera maker's name for example. The only negative would be the price, but hopefully it will be around a long time. 5 |
