Leica M9 P Digital Camera

[Black] Looks great on my Leica M9

[4 x 3.8 x 1.4"] I had a ThumbsUp for my Leica M9 and really liked it, so I got another. This, for the M10 fits perfectly and really helps balance and secure the camera. It is snug against the body, allows for the menu wheel to be accessed easily, and is shaped just right for your hand. Also, for those who use a protective leather case it makes it easier to hold. I don't usually get so excited about a simple milled piece of metal, but this is great craftsmanship. And while everything Leica seems over-priced, this seem worth it. (shop around, B&H was the least expensive?at the Leica store you will pay $50 more!) Finally, have to say that the finish and color (black in my case) is a perfect match to the camera. Well done.

[Flap with Stud] Leica-like quality in a bag perfect for carrying a Leica M9 and 2 or 3 lenses.

[Manual Focus] Combined with viewfinder 21, this is the perfect companion for my Leica M9-P. Its crystal sharp from edge to edge, and with the f/2.8, it handles semi-dark conditions extremely well.

[Leica M] Added this to the lenses for my Leica M9-P, great quality as always, so worth the rather higher cost of the brand... and they keep getting more expensive, so....

[f/16] Just tried this tiny great lens and loved it. Will use on my Leica M8 while I decide what to do with my M9 sensor corrosion. This camera once was sent to Wetzlar and must be sent again. But about the Voiglander I think it is as good as the 35 f2 and 50 f 1.4, both asph Leica that I have been using for some 10 years. Great colors, great resolution, very light weight.

[Leica M] I am using this one to Leica M9 and Zeiss Jena Flectogon 4/20mm nikon-F mount + Leica 21mm viewfinder. Using F-stop by F5.6. The M9 camera is taking a sharp images from 0.8m to infinity. Next step is Leica M10 + M Visoflex Typ 20 and any Nikon lenses. Too Good Future but a lot of finance!

[39 mm (Front)] I bought this lens for my M9 with some trepidation. I have read reviews online saying that you should only use it on film Leicas and not on an M9 because it produces a magenta shift in the corners due to the rear of the lens being too close to the sensor. Anyway, I bought it because I cannot afford a genuine Leica 21mm at this time. Well, to my surprise there is NO magenta cast either on my m9 or my Sony A6000. Also, I compared pictures taken with this lens on my M9 with pictures taken with my A6000 and the Zeiss Touit 12mm lens (18mm equivalent) and the Voightlander lens is FAR SHARPER than the Zeiss lens. The focusing doesn't have the same feel as a Leica lens, but all in all a fabulous lens.

[0.015 lb] I had my ophthalmology friend help me figure out the right strength. Leica M9 comes with a finder that is -0.5. So for my right eye correction I needed to get -1.0 (since my total right eye correction is -1.5). The diopter screws perfectly into the view finder and now my focusing is immensely improved. The piece is slick, you do not know it is there if look at your camera. Great Leica optics, punishing Leica price. I love the piece.

I'm not sure why Leica didn't put an adjustable diopter on my M9. At any rate, it was quite a challenge to find out which strength diopter to purchase. I wear +2 readers, and after too much online research, I decided to order the +1 Leica Diopter and it's perfect.
