I'm a lifetime RZ67 shooter, I shoot digital more and more but at the end of the day thats the one camera I'd go down with if I had to choose. I bought this on a whim thinking it might not work great. I was confused as to how to cock the adapter (with the flange ring that attaches to the back of the RZ lens, with RZ lens set to T mode) and thought I was stuck using all the lenses wide open. Once I figured that out I was really excited. Lenses look great, not too sharp like more expensive digital glass is. Using this is my way of avoiding paying $2k or more for a GFX long/portrait/macro and I'm happier I think in general. Will be great to travel with my RZ kit and GFX50R in the same bag sharing lenses. the 180mm RZ67 soft focus lens looks incredible on here. The focus on the adapter works pretty well, larger lenses start to create a very large lens footprint coming off the front of a comparatively small camera, so support it well, don't dangle it from your camera strap and I think this will have a long life. One drawback is that infinity seems just ever so slightly out of range with some RZ lenses, not enough to be unusable but maybe enough to drive you nuts. I'll be fine using my 63mm for that. 5 |

[0.3 lb] This adapter let me put an old 55mm f/1.4 lens to work with my digital Nikon. Fantastic!! 5 |

[1.025 lb] I bought this adapter to use with my spotting scope and digital camera. Very easy to use and very easy to get on and off the scope. Love it ! 5 |

[0.47 lb] Not a whole lot to say except that lens and camera fit well and that the adapter is well made. 5 |

[Samsung NX] Nearly any L39-LM adapter may be fine for film M, but for digital M, you need a Type II (e.g, Voigtlander Type II) adapter, or the camera will read no lens attached -- not an issue if you don't specify a lens profile or use LiveView. Rayqual's adapters are quasi-Type3: infinity-lock and digital-M compatible. More expensive, but cheaper than buying several that don't work correctly. Wish these were always in stock. Best option. 5 |

[Sony/Minolta A] I've always wanted a digital back for all my RB lenses and dreamed one day something could do that. I never really thought about my 50r as a digital back but that is essentially what it is with this adapter. Yeah I know I don't get the full perspective of the lens since the lens is designed for a bigger film plane than the Fuji MF sensor but the KL RB lenses I have are super sharp and give me that DOF that I love on my RB67. Focusing is precise to the point you really need a tripod as hand held will only work well with infinity focus. In fact you can over focus infinity so it's sometimes hard to nail focus near or far without failing it in. I've even tried the 360mm f6.3 with great resultIts. It's not as sharp as some of my other lenses but that is a lens characteristic and not the adapters fault. My favorite results so far come from the 90mm KL lens which is about as sharp as the G lenses. The shutter ring is easy to release and is my only complaint as sometimes a lite touch will close it. You'll have to twist it back if it gets knocked during composition. This usually happens to me when focusing as the focus and shutter rings are close together on the adapter. I wish they made a lock or a bit firmer pop into place so it doesn't close so easily. Not a big deal to me just something worth mentioning. 5 |

[Leica M] This lens was a replacement for my 12mm M-mount (using E mount adapter) which suffered from severe vignetting, purple discoloration, and chromatic aberration as it was not designed for a digital sensor. This lens still suffers from some vignetting from about 50% in and has a slow and even falloff but it's far more natural and fixable in post. Chromatic aberration is also mostly gone. Manual focus is easy. The wide lens has a huge depth of field even at f5.6 and most e-mount cameras have both manual focus assist (digital zoom) and peaking so those should be turned on. There's no Lightroom lens preset for this yet but since the lens data is stored in EXIF it should be able to pickup the right profile automatically in a future Adobe update. 5 |
