[Universal] It is compatible and fits the stand bar that holds it in position.

[0.7 lb] Great little stand, just right for lighting backdrops, seems sturdy.

[0.255 lb] Good, solid cold shoe bar at a reasonable price for larger LED lighting, monitors and audio gear for mounting on a DSLR or small video camera.

[7' / 2.1 m] I use this stand and another just like it along with a Manfrotto cross bar to hold up a heavy backdrop and it works like a dream!

[0.7 lb] We use this Manfrotto Backlight Stand for lighting. It is a worthwhile addition to anyone needing a stand for their lighting. It is of typical, excellent Manfrotto quality and will not dissappoint! A stand of this nature can be purchased for a few dollars less under a different stand company but I would strongly urge any potential customer NOT to purchase an inferior product ...

[Latch] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stand is great looking! It has a very sleek looking design. Modern looking, but not to the point where it looks cold and sterile. The wood really softens the look. It blends in with our living room really well even though, I wouldn't describe our style in that room as being particularly "modern". It’s actually much easier to assemble than I had expected. There are a lot of bits but the instructions are well done and easy to understand. I did not have to spend a lot of time wondering if I missed a step or used the wrong screws on the prior step like I sometimes do. The stand holds all of our existing equipment without it taking up all the space of a traditional cabinet. Being able to free up all the space the stand took up in the floor makes our room look 20% larger even though the stand has essentially the same footprint. I have not mounted a sound bar to it yet. I never wanted to take up the single long shelf built into our old stand, so I have not bought one. The way a sound bar would mount to this gives me all the excuses to get one now.

[Landscape] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An elegant and sleek stand that elevates and merges with the decor of any room without the need to drill holes. The magnetic fabric that serves as a hidden pocket to hide the router, cables etc. giving it a clean look. Extremely well though of design also has a bar to hold the sound bar.

[4.65 lb] I'd bought the Savage Port-a-Stand awhile back and had only the shorter cross bar that came with it. I'd been wanting to use wider backdrops on occasion but figured that I'd need a whole new stand for that. Instead, I found and bought this bar, and it works perfectly with my existing side pieces. When it's not in use, it slides in on itself and is the same size as the original bar, so it's no harder to store, either.
