[Baseplate] Using this battery plate with the Wooden Camera Battery slide on the new Canon C200. Like all Wooden Camera gear, this plate is a quality piece of gear although I was surprised that the actual battery plate is made by IDX and not branded Wooden Camera but doesn't matter. The cable is thick and heavy duty and should last a while, I like the protruding battery release button, easy to access without being too out in the open. The plate secures to the Wooden Camera Battery Slide with four included Phillips screws. I really appreciate that the plate has not one, but two D-Taps, very useful for powering outboard recorders, lights, EVFs, etc. There are dozens of battery plates on the market and that B&H sells and this is not the cheapest. But if you are using pro gear, why cheap out, buy the good stuff that will function correctly and last a while!

[7 x 5.7 x 2.6"] I bought the C200 to observe the habits of the neighborhood stray & ferule felines. The software is a bit glitchy but the camera functions very well. Because of the glitches I wouldn't suggest it for a security camera, for remote viewing (at home or away) it's a really decent product. The Google app is great for a smart phone, Memu software enables viewing and control on a pc.

[Carbon Fiber] I use this slide with a Canon C200 that weights almost 9.5 lbs fully outfitted. The slide works well even with a camera at the top of the weight range. Slide is very easy to program. I highly recommend adding 2 air cushioned light stands to your quiver. This slide needs support at both ends especially with a heavier camera. but overall very solid construction. Worth the purchase

[Aluminum] This is a must if you plan on using certain rail systems on your C200. The camera is a touch shorter than my old C100mkii, so the base plate/rail combo I had from Smallrig didn't align right and my matte box wouldn't go low enough to work. This raises the camera the perfect amount to work with 15mm rail baseplates and also adds much needed mounting holes for lateral movement on gimbal baseplates like the smaller Ronin-S. Fit and finish is perfect as expected from Shape. Worth it if you need it.!

[Zipper] This bag is EXACTLY what I needed. My C200 fits fully assembled including on camera mic in the forward position and has ample room for extra gear. The bag is impeccably made with top notch materials. Another great feature that I didn't expect is that it has a small footprint when standing on its rubber 'feet' compared to my other equipment bags. Highly recommended.

[Canon EF] It took me a while to select a middle range cinema camera while researching the EVA1, C200 and the Ursa MINI Pro. Eventually I settled on the EVA1 and have not regretted it for one second. Easily accessible functions, wonderful dual native ISO (like its Varicam big brothers) light weight, nice side grip with function control and the images! Wow! It sports the same color science as the Varicam line so if you're shooting on those it will easily cut. People have complained about the EVF and yes, it's pretty bad in bright sunlight but quite honestly it's a minor sticking point with me and it's a fault easily overshadowed by all of the other great things about the camera. I'll be using a SmallHD, so, not a problem. Well done Panasonic!
