Logitech Keyboard For Computer

[10 Days] Bought it for my wife who recently started a remote job. Since her work computer is running Windows, I was looking for a slim non-mechanical keyboard. Logitech seemed like an obvious choice. Upon receiving the item I liked the build quality, the feel of typing and the way how both this keyboard and the Logitech mouse can connect to the computer via a single dongle.

[3.6 lb] I have been getting Logitech electronics for years. When I first purchased the MK710 Wireless Unifying Keyboard and mouse at least 10 years ago it immediately became my go to keyboard/mouse. Since my first purchase, I have gone through 3 of this item - due to my cats using my keyboard as a bed. I have looked at other paired keyboards and mouse, but always select the MK710 due to its comfort, ease of use, and because I love it. Until, and if, Logitech creates a better unifying Keyboard and mouse, and so far they have not, I will keep purchasing this item when needed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything Logitech makes is so solid and comfortable. I wasn’t expecting much from a small keyboard, but this one is great.

[4 (16 Cascade)] This IOGEAR GCS110-4 4-Port KVMP switch is my first purcahse of this type of gear...should have bought one years ago. I had checked out one of the other brands, but the manufacturer's web-site had the same photo and description for two models, very confusing. I am using this switch with three computer, Win7, Win8.1 and a Linux rig. I keep the fourth port open for testing other computers, no need to connect one being tested to a separate keyboard and mouse setup. This switch allows me to easily switch between computers via keyboard shortcuts. I have a Logitech Keyboard and Mouse which share a single wireless USB dongle, plugging the dongle into the keyboard USB port of the monitor area of the switch allows me to use the keyboard and mouse on all computers. I did have to uninstall the Logitech software which allowed for custom keyboard layout (volume up/down, next track, etc.) as it seemed to conflict with the way the KVMP switch emulated Keyboard and Mouse Control...not an issue for me in this case. I am not a hard-core gamer, thus do not have a mouse with 92 buttons on it..more of a FPS and Flight Sim guy here. I like the fact that I can switch the keyboard/mouse, Vidoe and USB separately from the audio, that is I can have music playing on one computer, switch the Keyboard/Mouse, Video, and USB to another computer and still hear the music from the first computer. I have all my external drives and printers connected directly to the Win7 computer working as a server for all my data. I have a USB hub connected to the KVMP input which is accessed by whichever computer I am using for such things as my web-cam, joystick, multimedia card reader, and ID CAC Card Reader. I started taking IT classes and now I can easily do remote access, learned how to access Windows Shared Folders from the Linux box...and more, having the computers side by side with one control system is a Godsend. I would recommend this switch to anyone considering such a purchase.

[CRI 93] Since every computer has become now an at-home television studio, lighting is a must and there are so many of it... It was no accident then that Logitech came with this wonders that work so well, at the right quality and price and so easy to set up from the desktop... Ideal...

[USB-A ] I'm a programmer and have had a CM Storm for 10 years. The printing was wearing off and I decided I was due for a new keyboard. I had a coupon and decided to get a Logitech g915. Big mistake. That's a bad keyboard. Short keystrokes, and seems very vulnerable to windows updates (Loses connectivity except for the volume wheel and requires a reboot to fix). Gave the Logitech to my wife ;-) and got the Das for me. Perfect in every way.
