[5.3] I have fully updated the firmware and everything works great. It let me install (4) HDD, (2) SSD and (3) m.2. Love gigabyte.

[32 lb] I muddled through setup (not my strong suit), and got it up and running fairly quickly with the four 18Tb HDD's and two 4 Tb NVME M.2's I had. I added another four 18tb HDD's when they arrived a few days later. It worked, but not necessarily how I wanted it arranged, so I copied everything to a drive, deleted the storage pools, and reset the whole setup as new. Got everything copied back over. I am still slower than I want to be, but I think it has to do with my slow Office Depot network switch, I have ordered another that does 10g. from B&H. My relevant notes about the QNAP product. 1) Use heat sinks on your NVME M.2 - under heavy load they will overheat (which the QNAP product will monitor and warn you about) 2) QNAP software is EASY to use, and when you want to do something and can't figure it out, the software pretty much tells you what you need to install. Some of it is free, but some of it is an additional purchase, but I think it is priced well (The one app I needed for a file format was $3.) 3) Order all the hardware you want with the machine, and be patient until it arrives.. lol. I spent an extra 5 hours on setup because I have the patience of a 3 year old looking at a bag of marshmallows. I am doing 4k video editing, with LARGE files. It is acceptable as is for my purposes, but the new network switch should make this thing great.

[0.245 lb] I tried another M.2 enclosure from another retailer before this one, and couldn't get a working connection. I learned there are a couple of different types (sizes) of M.2 and not all enclosures are compatible with all devices. The description on this one listed it as being compatible and it worked immediately. It also seems to be well constructed, with a mostly metallic construction and two small screws for assembly, and overall is a better quality than the first device I tried.

[ 12 VDC at 5 A] The BLACKJET DX-1M M.2 NVMe SSD Enclosure in my TX-2DS Cinema Dock allows me to record to NVMe drives when I need greater bandwith than available on SSD drives.

[0.135 lb] If you have an M.2 SATA drive, don't just toss it in a drawer and forget about it! It's easy to put it in this enclosure and use it. Just make sure it's an M.2 SATA drive and not an NVME drive!

[0.585 lb] It does exactly what it should, feels high quality, just be careful and make sure the m.2 ssd you want to put in this enclosure actually fits since not all m.2 ssds will fit in this enclosure. Wanted more internal storage space instead of having this drive connected via a USB-C adapter and I haven't had any issues since putting it in my system a month ago.

[Yes] I bought this enclosure to clone my stock SSD to a Samsung Evo 850 M.2 1 TB SSD. Combining with the freely downloaded Samsung Data Migration that works exclusively with Samsung products, the process was flawless and easy. This enclosure was perfect for the job. It's got a solid metal build, vents for cooling, and a connection that works with USB 3.1 or even 3.0 if you don't have 3.1. I turned the previous M.2 I had into a mini-portable external drive, with ridiculous transfer speeds like at about 300MB/sec. Oh, and here is an LED light on the bottom that indicates it is being used! This is a great enclosure. =

[0.055 lb] This was my first jump into the PCI2 M.2 internal SSD field. I have them enclosed in an external enclosure (OWC Express 4M2) and due to the limitations of that unit, had no need for the faster M.2 SSD's. These are blazing fast configured as a RAID, but also extremely fast as JBOD. Highly recommended by me.

[0.05 lb] I bought this because the Sabrent USB 3.2 Type-C Tool-Free Enclosure for M.2 PCIe NVMe and SATA SSDs does not come with a USB-C to USB-A adapter, and not all of my PCs have USB-C connectors. I can say for sure that this adapter works perfectly with this enclosure. I am very happy with my purchase.

[6.8 x 5 x 2.3"] I bought this enclosure to house an Intel 2TB 660P NVMe M.2 Internal SSD. The instructions for installing the SSD were crystal clear, and it all went together in just a few seconds. The enclosure seems to be extremely well made, and I am very happy with it.
