[Yes] I have installed it on my Asus gaming laptop for game storage as a second M.2 and it is really fast and even without heatsink, it doesn't get hot. I am considering now to buy a second one with 2TB for game storage and makes the 1TB version the primary one for the OS, as it is faster than the pre installed Samsung ssd. 5 |

[3.05 lb] I installed a pair of Corsair MP600 Pro LPX 4TB M.2 drives in this unit and have them in a RAID 0 configuration. I'm running an old Intel Mac Mini, so speeds are not optimal, but the external drive is faster than Apple's internal SSD that came installed in the laptop. I have to put my ear right next to the dock in order to confirm the fan is running, so noise certainly isn't an issue. 5 |
