The semi-weighted keys feel decent for what they are and won't take long to get used to if coming from a GHS action keyboard. It's also light enough to easily move around, and the number of plugins and software options it interfaces with is vast.

While it lacks some of the bells and whistles of more advanced controllers, it provides a solid foundation for virtual instrument control, DAW navigation, and music production. The included software bundle adds great value, making it a well-rounded package for those just starting in the world of MIDI and digital music.

[USB Cable] The Hammer 88 is a no frills MIDI controller with a nice weighted action. Construction seems solid. A pretty good buy for the price.

This is fairly simple to use and feels really sturdy. I used it to hold a 49-key midi keyboard over my 88 key. It works really well for that purpose, and I don't find that it inhibits my view of the bottom keyboard all that much. Plus, the angle is adjustable, so you can get it where you want it. This is way cheaper than buying an additional tiered stand, and I highly recommend it.
