This docking station was easy to set up. The quality of it seems to be nice and the docking station looks premium. It seems to be working flawlessly for what I need. I really like that it is light and works nicely with my Chromebook and 2 monitors. The packaging comes with UD-MSTHDC Docking Station, power adapter, USB-C and USB-C cable.

[USB-C Male] Bought it to replace an aging cable for a Mac docking station, the problem was that the secondary display connected to the docking station started to flicker and lose signal at any moment. But most cables I was able to buy in local stores only had the usbc physical connector, but still old USB 2.0 protocol which doesn't handle video signal. This cable worked perfectly with the docking station, is able to handle the HDMI video signal, and is the perfect length for the replacement.

Everything is simple to set up and you are done with the whole process in less than a minute. I also love that their is an HDMI port in case I want to connect to my television.

[Aluminum] I had a docking station from Plugable that I really liked, but it used DisplayLink drivers technology and because of a recent Mac update I could no longer watch videos from Netflix or Udemy or YouTube TV. Thank goodness I discovered this Hyper drive! It arrived yesterday and it’s working flawlessly and it doesn’t use any drivers whatsoever. So I can see all my content again AND as an added bonus I can finally use Flux and Nightshift on my external monitors for the first time! Very, very satisfied with this product despite its high cost.

[CR-79, CR-80] This docking station from Plugable works great with my MacBook Pro M2 and has all of the main ports I need when traveling. My only note of critique is when using the ethernet port, the activity indicator light is bright white. It feels like a dance party with flashing lights at times since the light is quite bright. I would prefer that light being less bright.
