[Aluminum] I'm using this dock with a M1 Macbook Air . The machine only have two TB/USB ports, so for using the machine is esencial to be able to connect the things that you ususally need. This dock just work, with the ports that I need. What else can you ask for? 5 |

[0.495 lb] A must-have if you're using a macbook, especially an M1 with only 2 native ports. I have this running my monitor, two external HD's, 2 card readers, an iProfiler, a wacom tablet and I'm running power to the laptop all with this dock. It's brilliant. One cable from the laptop to the dock is handling all of this. 5 |

[Ethernet] I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to configure this with my New M1 MacBook Air. Audiante said they would have support towards the end of 2021, not sure why the long delay as complicated apps like Adobe already have started their transition. This adaptor is great for transmitting audio with zero perceptible latency over the network. You'll need a POE+ switch or power source, and your laptop must also be connected via ethernet since Dante doesn't work over WiFi. 5 |
