So during the Black Friday sale at B&H I bought this 2023 MacBook Pro M3. Super happy! Now this sleek and fast MacBook Pro M3 is the new “brain” linked to my two monitors and now I can travel with this laptop containing all my projects as I’m working on them. [8 GB] I purchased this laptop specifically for the integration of Lightroom between my iPhone and laptop. My other laptop is 8 years old and could not handle even the most simple workload with Lightroom. In the past few weeks that I have been using this computer, I have had ZERO issues in running Lightroom for some solid editing. The model I purchased was the intel Core i5 with 16 gb of RAM. The i5 is able to handle up to 64gb so the processor is more than capable of handling every byte of memory for processes. Additionally, I got the i5 due to no internal cooling and believe that the i7 would just get too hot when trying to run multiple applications at the same time. The i5 gets warm, but not unbearable. The Retina display on this laptop is absolutely beautiful. Even pictures that I have edited on my iPhone XS have been reedited after pulling them up on my Macbook Air. Bottom line, if you are getting started in photography, or looking for a laptop alternative to the iPad, the 2020 Macbook Air is more than capable of handling your needs on the go!

So, with the MacBook Air placed vertically with this item, everything is out of the way. The Gabor Laptop Vertical Stand makes my desk look so clean and SLEEK!!! Very cool! There are rubbers present everywhere it touches your laptop. ZERO risk of scratching anything, and that rubber is exceptionally grippy. Adjusting the space to properly for your laptop is effortless, and when you tighten the screws with the included HEX Key, it's not going anywhere. I love the bottom heaviness of this unit. I'm not worried at all having it tip over my laptop. Just perfect. I attached pictures in this review so you can see. I just wish they also had the finish in gold to match my laptop. Very happy! [14.2"] Absolutely love my new MacBook! I consider myself fairly tech-savvy, but what I always appreciate about Apple products is that they just work right out of the box with minimal setup and little fuss.  With just a few clicks the transfer assistant had my data from my old MacBook migrated over with ease. This was a big upgrade for me since I was coming from a late 2019 Intel Macbook Pro with only 8GB of RAM. I tend to use a lot of tabs in Safari, while simultaneously working in multiple Adobe Creative Cloud apps, a VMWare virtual Machine, and occasionally SketchUp. While my previous laptop would begrudgingly (slowly) support that workflow, it was increasingly obvious that 8GB of RAM wasn't sufficient for my needs. So after much thought and research I opted for the base M3 Pro chip over the upgraded chip M3 Pro and went with a model with 36 GB of RAM instead, and I couldn't be happier! I look forward to really unlocking the performance of this new M3 Pro Macbook Pro as time goes on.   And the space black color is gorgeous!
