Macbook Charger Adapter Plug

[165 W] The charger can charge my Macbook, phone, and power pack! It's easy to throw in a bag and plug in what I need!

[0.9 lb] Every time I bring my MacBook to work, I always have to bring the original little white Apple adapter, plug it in back and forth to home-work, work-home... Well, those days are over. Now, I can leave the Xcellon 100W USB-C Universal AC Adapter permanently on my desk at work while the original Apple charger is stored in the laptop's case to take it anywhere else. The original Apple charger is only 30 watts, which I also used it for other USB-C PD devices, but the Xcellon for being 100 watts, is much better. It will deliver intelligently up to 100 watts to whatever device that needs that much current, like a bigger laptop or an V-Mount battery and will also safely charge my MacBook to only supplying the appropriate current it needs. Nothing more. That's what PD means: "Power Delivery". Very happy with it, it does what it's supposed to and now I have two ways to charge my laptop. Also, it features a built-In Circuit Protection Circuitry, and if you live in a country that is 220 volts, the charger automatically switches to the appropriate wattage (110/220), no problem. This adapter is extremely useful - it comes in handy all the time! I use it with my new Apple M1 MacBook Pro - it allows me to plug in numerous drives, an SD card and even power! Couldn't live without this, tbh! B&H ships quickly - they're just the most reliable store online IMO - it's a mistake to buy anywhere else.

[0.3 lb] Plug and play. Never an issue on my MACBOOK Pro 2019. USB C adapter included. Pricey but high quality. Using it for live streaming. B&H had it to my door in less than 3 days.

[0.225 lb] Using the adapter with the new Macbook Pro, working with SD cards (cameras and phones mostly). Plug it in, and it just works. If I have the SD card in the reader before connecting to the Macbook, I have to remove the SDcard and re-seat it. But other than that one thing, it doesn't have any downsides. Transfers data very quickly indeed! Solid metal shell, thick cable, and holds the cards firmly. It seems to attract every bit of dust/hair/pollen imaginable, so keep it in a case or bag when not in use. Would love to see StarTech have a molded slot cover for this adapter. I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.

[16,000 Bytes] I needed to attach an Ethernet cable to a MacBook (of course no ports on the MacBook) so I got this with an adapter so I could use the cable and then the adapter with USB to plug into the laptop. Once the correct driver was installed for the MacBook / adapter all worked great. Instructions for all could be better. Thanks to B&H for super advice and support!

[0.285 lb] I do feel like a charger should have been included with the x-t4, but for professional shooters you would benefit from having this dual smart charger. What's funny is that the x-t4 just comes with a usb-c and a wall plug adapter and no charger. The charger doesn't come with the usb-c or wall plug adapter. So, it's pretty obvious that this pairing was intended from the start.

[1] Good price, and the charger works well. Includes a car adapter and a plug that should allow it to be used outside the US. Guess I hadn't read the description well enough so, these two things surprised me. :-) Always nice to be pleasantly surprised, right?
