To be honest I wasn't expecting it to work, but it does, and works very well - I've been using it this entire trip and very happily. My travel charger, meanwhile, is charging other devices.... It will charge the MacBook Pro at 100 Watts so it can also handle an iPhone, Watch and iPad.
