Macbook Pro M2 14 Dimensions

The Apple 14 MacBook Pro with M2 Max processor has been fantastic so far. Nice keyboard and sound, sharp display, quick and long battery life. Compared to my old Macbook Pro 13 with an Intel processor, this machine runs circles around it and doesn't even need to be plugged into power to do it. I was a bit worried about compatibility with the ARM based processor and some of my software but everything I use has worked either natively or with Rosetta 2 which has been seamless.

[5120 x 2880] I’m running this beautiful monitor from a 2023 MacBook Pro, with the Apple M2 Pro chip, and couldn’t be happier. Installation was simplicity itself. It is positioned at a ninety-degree angle to a very large east-facing window, and the standard glass performs brilliantly for me, without glare or annoying reflections. The Nano Texture glass would have been an unnecessary expenditure in this particular situation. My order was filled within hours, and arrived overnight with free shipping. Perfect.

[8.5 x 5 x 1.1"] Works seamlessly with my M2 MacBook Pro, without needing any apps or additional drivers. Doesn't get too warm while in use, it's light, and sort of matches the design of the computer.

[16:10] I was hesitant to get a MacBook Air instead of the pro since I edit a lot of 4K footage, but the M2 chip and processing power was nothing to scoff at! Used it on a 48 Hour Film competition the first week I got it and it handled raw log footage exceptionally well. For those who can't spring for the fool MacBook Pro package, getting an air with full specs is just as powerful a mobile editing tool.

[CR-79, CR-80] This docking station from Plugable works great with my MacBook Pro M2 and has all of the main ports I need when traveling. My only note of critique is when using the ethernet port, the activity indicator light is bright white. It feels like a dance party with flashing lights at times since the light is quite bright. I would prefer that light being less bright.

[USB-C Male] I was very annoyed when I learned that my new M2 MacBook Pro only supported a single external display and started investigating solutions. My research indicated that DisplayLink was necessary and this product was the most inexpensive one I could find. I already had the DisplayLink software installed when I received it, so I plugged it into my laptop and monitors and it worked instantly. Been using it about a week now with no complaints.

[16 GB] This is the best MacBook Pro I’ve ever owned. The M2 edition is fast, not that heavy, and has lots of memory — 32 GB. I’m using GIMP and Corel Draw! for both photo and object editing, works wonderfully. I would also recommend this machine for software developers. Xcode only takes fifteen seconds or so to start on this M2.

[ M.2 SSD ] I purchased this external drive to compliment my new MacBook Pro M2 Max and no regrets at all. This drive is excellent, runs smoothly, boots up fast, runs fast with Thunderbolt. and is quiet as well can be for an SSD drive with minimal heat.
