[12 VDC at 300mA] I bought my wife a Karaoke machine for Christmas which was two 1/4 microphone inputs on it. I was thinking how cool it would be to have wireless mics so people could hand them off as songs changed, instead of being limited by a cord, and having to swap seats. The WMS40 fit the bill PERFECTLY. I was a little concerned, with the low price, that the quality wouldn't be there, but the system is static free and sounds GREAT! I used balanced 1/4 cables (pulled from patchbay) to connect the microphone base unit to the Karaoke machine. The distance from the singers to the base unit is under 30 feet so I can't speak for the range of the unit. 5 |

[<1%] I needed something fast for a public talk and I have no expertise in AV. This is basically a karaoke machine with 2 mics, super fast set up and was good to go in 5-10 minutes. It is completely adequate for speaking engagements. The speaker is a little larger than I would have liked but it was a good purchase for novices who just need to get up and going asap. 5 |

[7] This machine is great! This mixer is a joy to work with, and is easy to use. I have used a mackie vlz3 before. Which to me had top notch audio output. The vlz4 maintains that quality. If not improves upon it. This thing feels like it is built to last. It is a very sturdy machine. All the materials used look and feel high quality. I love the all black finish, and overall color scheme of the knobs. This mixer will not let you down. 5 |
