[1 ms (GtG)] First let's get this out of the way, I was almost deterred by the dead pixel police but I think they are missing the point. This monitors motion clarity, color, brightness, responsiveness, and quality are on another level. I have owned or currently own the LGC2, the 175 hz ultrawide Acer predator x38, the 240 HZ BenQ Zowie, and the 270 hz 1440p Asus xg27aqm. Gaming on this is completely different. The combination of motion clarity and color vibrance is just nuts. I went into Apex Legends and I could feel the change from my other monitors to this one immediately. I can hit shots on this that I couldn't on the others. Everything slows down just a little and because the colors pop, you also see your opponents more clearly. Quick math lesson here. Since there are 2560 by 1440 pixels in this monitor, that means there are 3.7 million pixels and don't forget those pixels consist of red, green, and blue subpixels. So if one is dead, who cares? Are you guys serious? It's like you won a date with Alexandra Daddario and you are complaining about the dress she wore. Good grief we are entitled. I do not think mine had any dead pixels, I dunno, because it turns out a pixel is really really small. If you got the hardware to drive it, upgrade from HD to 1440p and leave your dated TN panels behind. Yes the 240 HZ oleds have a faster GTG, but that doesn't mean they have the best input lag, that has to do with other image processing elements beginning from the cable and ending at ur display. This is faster than OLEDs for total display latency and about 2.5 times brighter. If you are sweaty, this is your new home.

[0.2 lb] I got this unit to rack-up a Mackie DL1608 in an in-ear monitor rack. It works great and it easily holds the weight of a small format console and its PSU.

[Black] 22 years ago an audio rep at B&H helped me build my first recording studio. I didn't know enough then to realize how stellar the recommendations that were made were. In early 2022 I decided to do an entire upgrade to my studio, from computers to software etc. One of the original recommendations for monitors were the original Mackie HR824's. They are used as near field monitors. One of the amps on one monitor blew out. So I found my self on a search. I went through the usual suspects. Almost went for the Yamaha's but at the end of the day, i purchased 2 brand new Mackie HR8242. I can't believe they are even better than the originals. Clean, crisp, and flat, every mix sounds as its supposed to, in the studio, on my beats, in my car, on the phone, and on the web. They really are just spectacular monitors. Well worth the price of admission without a doubt.

[35.14 lb] I have been using the Mackie SRM Series Studio monitors in my recording studio and home sound system for years, and did not expect this set to sound as good given the price point. I was pleasantly surprised with how good this set really sounds. If you feed them a quality audio source, they sound great. If you plug them into a cheap sound source, not so much. I like that these have multiple unbalanced and balanced input jacks. Keep in mind that these are near field monitors, so the correct placement on your desktop is necessary to realize the potential sound quality.

[USB Type-B] I purchased this unit to add to 2 pairs of Mackie monitors, the 5" and 8". It was the perfect addition to complete the full range of the music. It came welcome packaged and delivery was as always very timely. Setup was easy and it offered a variety of connection options, love it.

[8.925 lb] I've always been a fan of the Mackie CR3's. There are solid, affordable monitors for your computer. Plenty loud with a full sound. And spending a little more for the Bluetooth enabled version is well worth it.
