Magic Bullet Mini

[0.24 lb] Using with Black Magic Ursa Mini 4k.

[0.165 lb] I used this product to power my Black Magic Ursa Mini directly from the Ronin. It worked a charm. Not only do I have the extra room for tilting the camera, but it saves on weight from not having to attach the V lock battery.

[3] I use this just like a mini Magic Arm to mount flashes and other small things to my camera. The arm has standard 1/4-20 mounting studs on both ends, providing strong mounting. Also provided are adapters for hot-shoe mounting (something I don't recommend for heavier objects). Once I have my object in the desired position, tightening the knob locks the whole thing solidly. It adds a bit of weight, but not too much. Great for adding a flash to a hand-held macro rig.

[8 TB] I purchased to expand connections to Mac Mini M1, to connect a couple external drives (one was Thunderbolt 1), and to have another USB-A available, since the two jacks on the Mini were used for the Magic Keyboard and Magic Trackpad. It's been running nearly constantly since early 2021 (this Mac Mini remains powered up all the time). While it's true that if you bump up against the Thunderbolt input cable, it can disconnect, I have not had that issue happen much at all since connecting it. However I have it in a fixed position on desktop (so it's rare to be sufficiently bumped). I've not run this with an 'speed' tests, since I only have disk drives connected. If I were to subtract a half star, it would be that I wished it had another USB-A port. But I knew the port specs before purchase.

[Precut Foam] We've recently switched from a Tricaster mini to the Black Magic ATEM mini and adding this Shuttle is the perfect solution to get video into your live productions. Yes, the file formats are limited but good show prep habits should include getting all of your media in the same format anyway. Just import your media into DaVinci Resolve and render using the Shuttle HD preset and it works like a charm. Very impressive piece of tech and as an added bonus, does a great job digitizing your old home movies! Just attach your old camcorder via the HDMI and press play/record. Very impressed.

[Ball Head] I now have all three sizes of the Novoflex Magic Ball. The Mini is fine for point/shoot cameras, and the big model will handle a monorail view camera or my 5x7 Technika, which weighs 12 pounds, but this model, the 50, is fine for anything in between. It's super smooth and strong and more versatile than any other ball head I've tried.
