Manfrotto Compact Action Tripod

[48.5 lb] Wow! This is one of my top 3 pieces of gear! A must have to get right over the action. I paired this with a Manfrotto Grip Ball Head and a 15lb. sandbag, and the possibilities are endless. This arm telescopes a surprising distance, so you can position the tripod on solid ground while the action is happening on a plush surface. I mean, come on!... you can finally get that highly sought after POV shot without trying to balance a tripod on a couch, or use your hands--which are better suited for directing the talent! Seriously, besides my camera, shotgun mic, or lenses, THIS is a must have piece of equipment for me! The feel of the equipment is sturdy and the action of the moving parts are smooth! Get it! It does not disappoint!

[Aluminum] I mounted this on my Manfrotto Compact Travel 61" tripod. Setup was quick. The item came in a well protected packaging. This little item saved me from having to purchase an ARCA type tripod (at least until this one is kaput). Now I can transition from my Peak Design clip on shoulder strap to the tripod without removing the ARCA mount.

[1 x 1 x 0.2"] This has replaced my Manfrotto 190go C4T (very good) as the go to compact tripod while travelling. Excellent height (5-section) without a center column is ideal allows it to be very compact and still has plenty of stiffness when extended. Very light but still has the same quality as my FLM CP34-L5 II. For hikes, this is ideal, though I use it as the main pod if the wind conditions are not too bad. Use it with a large ballhead (FLM GX55) and the combination is still super light and compact.

[360°] The Manfrotto Befree Tripod Kit is simply awesome ?It’s compact, lightweight and versatile. When you want to travel light to a sporting event or social functions hands down the tripod to use. I purchased my while it was on special at B&H making it truly a great buy. The regular price / MSRP is a bit pricey. If it goes on sale again I’ll probably buy a couple more.

[Yes] Great product and upgraded 055 tripod from Manfrotto. Definitely more compact (yet sturdy) tripod compared to my 9+ years old 055CX3 tripod. Leg locks worked great (better than on the 055CX3). All in all a great outdoor use tripod.

[4] I recently purchased the Manfrotto MT190XPRO4 tripod, and it is living up to my professional expectations. It is compact, rugged and perfect for both video and still shooting especially in tight and unusual situations. I use it with my Manfrotto Nitrotech fluid head and Manfrotto leveling ball on which I mount my Sony A7Sii, Tilda cage and Shogun package. One of the delightful features is the 90 degree column; it finds many uses! I recommend this tripod highly!
