Mechanical Keyboard Metal Keycaps

[Yes, White] I've been using clicky mechanical keyboards with my desktop computers for years. I love the build quality, the key travel and that satisfying sound. My only issue's been the thickness because my keyboard tray isn't deep enough to accommodate a palm rest. That meant an uncomfortable wrist angle. This Logi low profile solves that easily. For my purposes, this keyboard does everything I need, want and like. And it does it beautifully. Regarding comments about a slow backlighting sensor, the keys on my unit light up as my hands approach and it seems to be on a par with Logi's MX Keys which I've also used and I did not find it objectionable. As for backlighting going off too quickly, I don't have a problem with that either. It probably helps battery life, which is outstanding. I'm using this new keyboard, via Bluetooth, with one of Apple's new iMacs with the silicon chip and the Bluetooth connection is solid. The Bluetooth settings do show the percentage of the battery charge. If you need to boot from safe mode where Bluetooth doesn't work, just pair the keyboard to the included Logi Bolt USB receiver. The only suggestion I would make to Logitech would be to consider using PBT keycaps since they are virtually immune to fingertip oils and smudges, although a microfiber cloth will work on the existing keycaps.

[Mechanical] This is my second Das Keyboard 4 Professional--the first went to my wife's computer when I rebuilt and upgraded it. This latest model is equipped with the new footbar that has rubber feet, a great improvement in eliminating the tendency for the keyboard to slide around. I contacted Das Keyboard about purchasing the new footbar for our first keyboard. They responded by agreeing to ship one free of charge. The only downside to these keyboards is the ABS keys will wear shiny and the letters dim after awhile. The solution� is purchasing a set of Doubleshot PBT key caps from WASD Keyboards.com. PBT keycaps don't wear and the letters fade as with ABS keycaps and will permanently restore the keyboard to its original glory.

[1 ms ] This keyboard sounds amazing, it isn't too clickily and has a soft padding like click. The curved keycaps is a nice touch as well as the detachable cable.

[16] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This keyboard and mouse combo is my favorite. The last 10 keyboards i've bought has been this exact pair. I use it on my main computer as well as on my gaming computer it works great for both. I never had a problem with this keyboard except the numbers and letters on the keycaps fading away. When the letters fade is when i replace the keyboard. I wish i could buy replacement keycaps but you can't. A working keyboard gets trashed because of faded letters and numbers.

[USB-A ] It gives you the nice, clean feeling of a mechanical keyboard, but it's silent!!
