[Fixed] After 12 wonderful years of being a workhorse, one of my DS-20 fluid heads broke this week. The central metal support that allows fluid tilt had broken off from one side. The metal of the tube cracked and broke off as if it had crumbled. This prevents it from engaging the fluid core and now tilts wildly... so I have to lock it. I noticed there was no bolt on that side of the head where it broke, but there are threads. Maybe a bolt would prevent the stress break. (I had a clutch rod on a car break like this.. the mechanic said, That shouldn't happen. I agreed.) These are the best fluid heads we've ever used. Totally spoiled. I just wish it were easier to get a repair now that I need it. If I can find a bolt the right size, I might be able to rig it. Still gets 5 stars! 12 years without any fuss. These are such a joy to use.

[Rainbow Pattern] This canvas bag is extremely well made, with both leather buckles and metal snaps to secure the top cover to the body. This bag is more suited for storage of cameras and lenses, or traveling with lots of gear in a vehicle or by plane. It has zippered side pockets and a large zippered net pocket inside for the extras, along with a nice shoulder strap. If fully loaded, it would probably not be suitable as a walk-around gear bag, it would just be too bulky and heavy. But for storage and long-distance travel, it can accommodate a lot of gear and would be a great choice for consolidating your kit in one carry bag. This would definitely not be a bag to check in to boarded luggage on a flight but rather to carry onboard with you as it is not lockable.

[24 x 13 x 5"] I'm going to start first with the packaging. I was expecting a fairly tall and bulky shipping box, but it is actually a very conveniently sized, package, no higher than 8 as the legs come disassembled, and that's the only thing that you have to assemble and takes minutes. It also comes with a real wrench that you can keep and use for many other purposes. It also comes in white if desired. I have posted 6 images / collages along with this review that will be very useful for you containing tips, illustrations and more.Be sure to check them out. Everything is made of metal and its kinda heavy, which is what you want. It stays in place when you play the piano. I also tune pianos, which means, I have to slide across the bench as I tune and the bench doesn't move. Another GREAT use for this bench is for photography. GREAT for people to sit on it for studio headshots, which I'm definitely going to use it for. This bench (for the price) does not feature a storage compartment and it's not as wide of a bench, like...fitting two people, but if you need more bench space and storage, Impact make it as well. I'm happy with this size. Search for the BH #AUPBMFS It also features adjustments on two of the legs for uneven floors. Now the price: This bench will last me several years, it's made of metal, and it costs LESS than 4 packs of cigarettes... An unusual way to compare but just to give you a blunt idea of how good this investment is. Some things of equal value goes quick, while this bench will stay with you for many years. I'm quite pleased with this item and serves me for two purposes: Piano / Synth playing and Studio use! [I have received this item in exchange for my honest review]
