[USB-A (2.0)] I bought this because when I built my PC, I did not want any built in Wi-Fi or Bluetooth on the motherboard (ASUS WS Ace X570). This allows me to keep the Bluetooth external and portable, in a tiny USB plug-in dongle. It has worked perfectly, and is very unobtrusive since I plug it into my monitor which is also a USB hub.

[6 Months] This is the fourth one of these that I've used because the design is perfect for my needs. The first two were wi-fi but this and the third one are bluetooth. I use #3 with my Dell laptop and #4 with a MacBook Pro. They flatten out to switch them off which saves the battery and store easily in a laptop case or even temporarily in a shirt pocket. The two AAA alkaline cells last about four months with daily use, even though I sometimes forget to switch them off.

[MP2, MP3, WAV] I needed a replacement CD player for my aging (and starting to fail) 5 Disc Carousel CD player that I purchased several decades ago.  After researching various models of similar build and price point I decided on the Tascam CD-200BT.  B&H Photo processed and shipped my order promptly.  After installation of this unit to my hi-fi system I can say the Tascam CD-200BT does not disappoint with its solid build quality and simplicity of operation. The audio playback performance of this unit, both in CD and Bluetooth operation, has been excellent in my evaluations so far.  The Bluetooth receiver pairs up effortlessly with the devices I have linked.  I particularly like that this unit can store in its memory up to 8 Bluetooth devices without having to redo the whole pairing process when switching back and forth with other Bluetooth devices that have been previously paired in the unit’s memory.  The fact that this model has a Bluetooth receiver was an added bonus for me as this saved the additional expense of adding a separate Bluetooth receiver to my hi-fi system that I was also planning to add.  By not needing a separate Bluetooth receiver this saves having to use another AUX input on one’s hi-fi system AND with the CD-200BT unit having its own AUX input as well this in essence adds an additional AUX input function available for one’s hi-fi system.  With Tascam’s reputation for professional grade audio products this unit should serve me well for some time.

[98.4' / 30 m] The motherboard I purchased did not have wi-fi. Since I need Bluetooth capability, this adapter was the perfect choice. It works seamlessly in the background. It was less expensive to use this adapter than to pay the extra cost for a wi-fi enabled motherboard.

[Zigbee] I have a tough house for wi-fi. Must have a lot of metal in the walls. The Eero system has helped to solve my problem. Before Eero only my office had wi-fi, now I have it through most of the house. Having said that I had to buy several units to daisy chain around barriers. None-the-less I now have fairly decent coverage everywhere. The best part is that it is so easy to install. The app leads you through the installation for each unit. The appearance of the units is good in any decor.
