[0.35 lb] This is an excellent product. The performance is incredible. It has some heft to it and is well made. Works greats on Mac Mini 2012 with fresh install of Yosemite. The only improvement would be a second Thunderbolt port so it doesn't have to end the chain. B&H has the best price on the Internet right now and it is worth it! 5 |

[256 GB] I installed this disk in a 2012 Mac Mini, replacing the incredibly slow 5400 rpm mechanical drive that Apple installed in these machines to improve their already obscene profit margins. The Lexar device works, the performance of the machine is excellent (after also doubling the memory size) and the price of the Lexar is very reasonable. I've not had the Lexar very long, so I can't say anything about longer term reliability. If anything changes, I will update this review. 5 |
