[Stand Base] Even though my Blue Yeti microphone comes with a deluxe, heavy black anodized aluminum stand, I like this one better. The Blue Yeti mic stand is tall, and the mic blocks too much of the view of my monitor. This stand, on the other hand, is the perfect height. The bottom of my microphone is barely 2 inches above the desk. It's amazingly simple to deploy, with three legs that feel like metal, maybe steel, I'm not sure. The little footpads grip the desk nicely. If you want to mount the mic directly to the 5/8 adapter like I did, you will need to purchase a right-angle mini USB adapter, because there's not enough clearance between the bottom of the mic and the stand for a conventional mini USB plug.

[0.045 lb] My mom uses computer speakers connected to the headphone jack on her Mac Mini. The jack failed (evidently this isn't uncommon). As an inexpensive workaround, I picked up this USB audio adapter, and it worked like a charm. Even plugged into a USB hub, it stays recognized and selected in the Sound System Preferences pane even after rebooting and waking from sleep.

[0.04 lb] The cable that came with my RODE microphone is meant to plug into a camera. This adapter allows me to plug the microphone into a headset jack on my laptop (Surface Book 3). Works well

[Standard] The headphone jack on the Mac Pro 2019 is actually a combo jack. This adapter lets you connect both a microphone and headphones into that one jack. Works great.

[0.04 lb] This is a better alternative to an adapter without the wire, since it puts less strain on the jack. Not expensive. Used it for adapter a microphone to an XT-30 camera. Easy, inexpensive, and effective. I would recommend using a wired adapter for this application, since preserving the camera and its jack are crucial.

[30 lb] Since I didn't need the analog jack, I was hopeful that I could use a standard USB C to RJ45 adapter but it wasn't compatible. So, it is expensive but it works. I wish the Era series had retained the RJ45 jack because I wire them wherever possible.

[Single-Mode] It works. Dongle design is the better than straight adapter which may put strain on USB input jack on laptop.

[1x USB-C Male] So yes. First off this thing cleans up your audio from external mics very well. I've tried this on my motorcycle with the gain set to -10db and it turned out very clear (I am still editing that video). It fits nice and tight onto the side of your Action 3/4. Something to note....you WILL need to remove your usb-c access door to use this. Lucky for you, it removes easily by design and yessss it fits Into your camera while your camera is still in a cage. Another thing is you CAN use the usb-c port to charge your camera while still using the 3.5mm jack to plug a mic into while recording. - The 3.5mm jack is a TRS port so your mic has to have 2 lines on the 3.5mm end (not 3) in order to work with this adapter. - You cannot use the usb-c port of this mic adapter with a usb-c microphone as that mic will not work. If you have a usb-c microphone, plug it directly into the camera to use it. - the usb-c port of this adapter can be used to transfer files from the camera to your phone/laptop/tablet or PC or charge the camera ONLY.

[0.005 lb] I use this adapter to connect an external hard drive to my Samsung Galaxy Tab S. Tablets only have mini usb ports. To use an external or any other device that uses a usb port, you'll need this adaptor. I also recommend getting an adapter that has a mini USB port on the adapter so you can keep your tablet charging while you use it with the USB device.
