[Black] I purchased this in order to mount a microphone to the 'book table' of a music stand. This clamp is very sturdy. it clamps tightly to the thin metal 'table' and holds the microphone very securely. This is a suitable and inexpensive solution for our needs.

[ 24 VDC] If you do not have a proper base for a goose neck then this clamp is the ideal solution to have a quality microphone stand that can clip to anywhere.

[6.0" / 15.2 cm] it's a simple enough piece of technology but it's very useful. I use it in conjunction with a clamp on my shelf to mount a microphone to my desk. Solid, works great.

[Nickel, Brass] Worked perfectly. We used it to mount a microphone on the top of a light stand 1/4 threaded.

[Black] Great for the price! Mount sets on top of speaker stand so no need to clamp and hope it doesn't slide... love this for events where I need a video screen or secondary monitor. I will deffinately be getting more of these as they are needed.

[Glass] I got this frame YEARS ago, use it with a 1/2 stop diffuser, works great, very durable, has endured hours and hours of rugged use, totally improves quality of my work, but.... For years I fumbled with how to mount it to a C-stand. I improvised many different ways, often muttering 4-letter words as I came up with sub-par results every time. If I was lucky enough to have a PA with me, all was good, if it wasn't too windy. But still I was left scratching my head as to how to mount it up on a C-stand or the likes. Well, recently I FINALLY discovered the Westcott Scrim Jim Cine Clamp with 5/8 Stud BH# WESJCC58S - This is the GAMECHANGER!! This specialized clamp coupled with a solid grip head makes ALL the difference, seriously! The clamp is SO solid and you can position the frame/diffuser in so many different ways. And with a couple sandbags, the whole set up can even handle a little bit of wind. So, bottom-line, if you get this frame and you'd like to mount it on a C-stand, GET THE WESCOTT SCRIM JIM CINE CLAMP, it's worth every penny and then some. I should have just called up B&H years ago for a little guidance, wish I had found this sooner. The clamp is not listed as one of the B&H recommended accessories for the frame - Yet, it SHOULD be the #1 recommended accessory (pretty much an essential). I hope this helps anyone out there shopping for this frame (or anyone that already owns one) as it would have helped me a ton to have known about this long ago.

[Round] Great build quality; I'm writing this review having owned it for over a year, and it has held up perfectly. This is great for mounting all different kinds of gear, incredibly versatile, and with a sturdy yet well-cushioned clamp that allows you to mount a lot of weight without having to worry. I've used it clamped to a desktop with a Godox AD-200 and 30"x50" soft box - quite heavy, but it held very well. I've also mounted it horizontally to the side of a bookcase to hold an LED video light; again, no issues. You can easily attach a ball head to mount a camera, and the stand has a decent length of extension; enough for everything I've needed it for, without getting spindly at the maximum extension. As mentioned before, the clamp comes with some cushioning so you shouldn't be leaving marks on wood surfaces unless you really clamp down super tight. If you're worried about marring surfaces, keep some plywood scraps that you can put inside the clamp to distribute the force over a larger area. I would definitely recommend this for both photo and video if you're working indoors or in spaces where there is plenty of furniture, but maybe not much space for a traditional light stand. The clamping system has some advantages over sandbagging a light stand, and can leave the floor clearer, although you may be more limited in where you can set up. Of course, it's also great for adding a light to your video conferencing desk setup. Definitely worth it if you think you need one for your setup.

[Aluminum] This clamp lets me mount a Flashpoint XPLOR 600 Pro body to a Flashpoint boom stand, and project the extension head out. I'm fully confident in the clamp's grip, and mounting the heavy strobe body low adds reassuring stability to stand. I don't even need a sandbag!
