Microphone Stand Weight

[Large Diaphragm] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Logitech Yeti Gx microphone has a premium look and feel to it. I was impressed how it was protected with careful packing initially opening the package. The weight of the microphone was also impressive. While not overly heavy, you can tell it was made with quality, sturdy materials by its weight. It was very simple to assemble and even more simple to use it. It comes with a desktop stand or it can be mount it if you prefer. I was glad to see a foam bottom on the stand to prevent scratching. This microphone is plug and plug. Simply plug into your computer and it syncs right away to use. I didn’t have to do any additional steps. The mic speaker swivels side to side to adjust to different locations. It seems like the audio quality is top-notch. The RGB lighting adds a cool, special ambience. Between the sleek design, quality materials and top-notch audio - this is the go to microphone.

Very nice stand low profile just like I wanted. If you want a low profile microphone stand that can sit on your desk this is the one you want. I have the microphone under my monitor. Very nice weight to the stand, this is not plastic, it is built to last.

[Mono] This thing is a tank.  I was looking for a desk stand for my Rode NT1 microphone and was worried about the weight tipping it over.  With the extra counter balance and heavier stand, this stand holds it perfectly.  I can extend it all the way out.  Very sturdy and well made. I would highly recommend.

[Steel] I will start by saying it was missing a wheel nut but I was able to get one at the hardware store. The stand itself is very sturdy, I use microphone stand shelves (look up Gator microphone stand shelves on B&H) to hold a computer and some drives. You obviously want to avoid bumping it as the monitor will rock a little but that is to be expected. Definitely handles the weight and balances decently without an excessively large, intrusive base. If you have like 10” audio rack components, they stack nicely on the two metal parts of the base. While the top weight is limited to a 43” monitor/tv, the lower pole and assembly based on the wheel ratings and structure can hold much more additional weight on the lower half.
