[Ball Head] I bought this for mounting cameras and microphones. Also for zoom meetings with a smartphone. I bought a separate smartphone mount, though; as the included adapter is inferior. Here's a cool use I found: In my recliner, I mount my phone, and lay the tripod across one leg horizontally. By adjusting the flexible legs just right, I can use the phone out-of-hand. Done right, there's virtually no movement. It's pretty luxurious!

[1.775 lb] Great value buy for my webcam, but sturdy enough for my mirrorless cameras and microphones. Love it on my desk and that it's adjustable. A solid stand!

[0.49 lb] I would mount heavy microphones or video cameras on boom mounts, but they would tip over! This counterweight did the job and put an end to that dilemma quickly! I now have two of them and would highly recommend to anyone in need of this. Just one note of caution: wear shoes (if you were to drop this on your foot, you'd definitely feel it)!
