[500 GB] I replaced the 256GB SSD in a Surface Pro 7+. I tried loading an image from the Surface Pro support page and I tried loading Windows 10 & 11 from just the Microsoft site that were not specific to the Surface Pro. I kept having random reboots. It would stay on 25 minutes then reboot then reboot again after it restarted. I finally remembered to check this site for firmware/drivers. Once I installed the firmware update, NO MORE REBOOTS. I hope this helps someone else remember firmware updates 5 |
