[0.295 lb] I bought this for my new iPad Air 5. In the past, I've used a screen protector for my iPads, but this time I wanted to try without, so I needed something to protect the surface when not in use. I rarely take it out of my house, so was not concerned about breakage, but more about things like my dog walking on it or my accidentally putting something on top of it that might scratch the surface.
