Mini Boom Microphone Stand

[Aluminum, Steel] great to make a mini boom

[Screw-Knob] I have used this combination boom and stand in the studio for more years than I can remember. It's like a Neumann microphone...it's not a studio without one. Tuff, smooth and easy to use. Nothing bad to say about it.

[Steel] I use the Mini Matthellini Clamp to hang a dynalite pack from my boom stand -- Attach a Super clamp to the boom stand, then a 5/8 pin to the Super clamp, a grip head onto the 5/8 pin and the Mini Matthellini Clamp into the grip head... The Mini Matthellini Clamp hangs straight down and the V-shape of the Mini Matthellini Clamp holds the Dynalite pack handle perfectly., keeps the cords from dragging on the ground and the pack hangs perfectly straight instead of at an angle (if you use a J-hook on a Super clamp you can't get the Dynalite pack far enough away to hang straight down). Anyway, really good quality clamp, I love it.

[Rectangular] I am using this with the stand with the Avenger D600 Mini Boom, and I have put the D1 profit and a 22 inch beauty dish on it and it will hold more. I have not tried more but I see not safety concerns to this point. I did put a 10 pound sand bag on the other end of the boom but it may be for peace of mind, LOL

[29 x 7 x 4.5"] I attach this mini boom stand to my Alien Bee Light Stand so I can hang my hair light (with soft box) over my collapsible background. It's a great product and can hold the weight of a light with a soft box. The counter weight at the end of the boom comforts me that my light won't tip over! I would purchase this product again and recommend this to someone else.

[Built-In] I use this in my studio with a D600 mini boom for hair light stobe etc works great stable rolls smooth as silk and I don't have to worry about the weight like on a regular light stand or c-stand

[Chrome ] It's just the right length for my application. I have a tight working area for audio. I have the boom on a microphone stand behind the rack and it comes through from the back, so that the microphone is positioned directly over the mixer. Plenty of adjustments make it fit almost any application.

[5/8"-27 Male] I needed a boom arm but not the stand to hold it, so this was perfect. It's substantial enough that I can trust it to hold the microphone, and it telescopes smoothly.

[5/8" Receiver] This works great and allows me to attach my microphone clip to the boom on my sturdy light stand. The sturdy set up means that the microphone stand will not fall on expensive instruments.

[Plastic] The K&M 252 has proven to be my favorite microphone stand. I ended up buying six of them. I work strictly mobile, and never know exactly what situations I will encounter. The 252 has 3 sections in the base and two in the boom. I can place a mic near the floor, or high enough above a seated musician for a spot mic. I can record a piano on half-stick without removing the boom, or high and low over the strings. The stand is surprisingly heavy, which lends great stability when the boom is extended.
