[0.07 lb] We have a new Mac Mini and an Intel NUC, and we use these cables to connect them to DisplayPort monitors. The DisplayPort connector is latchless, but it fits and connects securely (latches are optional for DisplayPort connections). These have been very reliable for us, and they are VESA compliant. We have used them with many different DisplayPort monitors (including an multi-stream MST setup), and they work excellently.

[1920 x 1080] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Mini DisplayPort is a fantastic connector for high-quality audio and video streaming! Its small size makes it incredibly convenient for use with laptops and other compact devices. The Mini DisplayPort delivers impressive resolution and sharp images, making it a reliable choice for presentations and media consumption.

It is very useful to extend a Windows 10 laptop with a USB-C video output to two external 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 monitors along with other wired USB Type-A accessories like a keyboard and mouse. To have two external monitors, you must have Windows (not a Mac) and you must use the Mini DisplayPort output for one of the monitors with a cable that connects directly to a Mini DisplayPort or DisplayPort input on a monitor. Also, make sure that you connect it to a USB-C port on your laptop that supports video output. I have a laptop that uses the integrated graphics of an i7-8550U Intel processor connected to 2 HP 2415U 1920x1200 monitors, one using HDMI and the other using the Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable that comes with the monitor, and it works great. This allows you to have a 3-display setup at work (including the laptop display) that only requires a single cable to connect and disconnect your laptop as you start and end your work day. It was 4 stars for me because all of this was not obvious and required some research and experimentation on my part, but now it is 5 stars now that I know how to use it for 3 displays. [1x DisplayPort] We purchased this cable for use with a new monitor. We've never used a Mini DisplayPort connection before, but it is working well with no issues whatsoever. The cable seems to be of very good quality, and I especially appreciate the solid connection with the PC interface and the monitor. The product description indicates its use for MacBook products and HDTV, but we use for a PC to monitor connection

[2560 x 1600] When adding a new computer to my set up, I needed a mini-DisplayPort-to-mini-DisplayPort cable to connect the computer to my existing monitor. When shopping for the cable, I found a number that were 1/3 the price, but they all said that they didn't completely met the spec. The B&H cable description proudly announced that the cable exceeds the spec. And, as always, the part I ordered arrived on time.

[114 lb] Canon R cameras have a mini-HDMI port on the side, but R cameras also come with a plastic support bracket thing you're supposed to use to keep the mini-HDMI cable from putting too much stress on the camera's mini-HDMI connector. You insert the cable through the plastic thing and into the camera's connector. My non-Canon mini-HDMI cable has a housing that is smaller than the hole in the plastic support, and thus isn't as protected by the plastic support thing. The size of the housing on the Canon cable around the mini-HDMI end is such that this Canon cable fits more securely in the plastic support thingy. If you choose to not use the Canon accessory to protect your camera mini-HDMI connector, then there is no need for the Canon cable - any good cable will do. But if you intend to use the plastic support accessory that comes with the camera, this cable will be more secure. I'm glad I got it, and would purchase again. If you shoot a lot of video in the field with the mini-HDMI cable attached, and expect the cable to get kicked around some, then definitely get this Canon cable and religiously use the plastic support attachment.

[1x 4-Pin Hirose] Use this cable to connect SmallRig VB50 Mini V-Mount Battery to Sound Devices MixPre-10 ii, with the battery mounted on top of the MixPre-10 ii. Just right cable length, D-tab connector just fits well, not too tight, and the 4-pin HIROSE connector works smoothly. Overall, this cable is a very good fit for this combination.
