I have a laptop that uses the integrated graphics of an i7-8550U Intel processor connected to 2 HP 2415U 1920x1200 monitors, one using HDMI and the other using the Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable that comes with the monitor, and it works great. This allows you to have a 3-display setup at work (including the laptop display) that only requires a single cable to connect and disconnect your laptop as you start and end your work day. It was 4 stars for me because all of this was not obvious and required some research and experimentation on my part, but now it is 5 stars now that I know how to use it for 3 displays. The cable seems to be of very good quality, and I especially appreciate the solid connection with the PC interface and the monitor. [2560 x 1600] When adding a new computer to my set up, I needed a mini-DisplayPort-to-mini-DisplayPort cable to connect the computer to my existing monitor. When shopping for the cable, I found a number that were 1/3 the price, but they all said that they didn't completely met the spec. The B&H cable description proudly announced that the cable exceeds the spec. And, as always, the part I ordered arrived on time.

[RJ45] It's hard to find good cables like this with male XLR and mini-jack. The cable comes with a Velcro tie, which keeps it neatly rolled. My only criticism is that the packaging was somewhat difficult to remove.

Since the monitor doesn't have a sound system in it, DisplayPort is the natural choice, and I use the HDMI of for my pen tablet. Cable works flawlessly with no problems in picture quality and has plenty of length to be able to stow the computer out of the way. It feels durable enough to last many years.
