[270°] I could not upgrade the firmware from Godox through my windows 10. So after a computer professional looked over the situation said that Windows 10 would not recognize the upgrade due to the time Godox wrote the firmware upgrade. He used Windows 7 and the firmware upgrade worked.

[5.3] The Intel NUCs hit in (almost) every way for a mini PC. If you can use a small but powerful machine, definitely consider one of these. Here at B&H I got the barebones i3 kit (without the drive or any memory) and installed MS Windows, memory, and the drive myself. Two tips for self-installers based on the other reviews: 1) Pressing the power button for three but *not* four seconds takes you to a menu allowing you to set options like boot order, make sure LAN is turned on, etc. 2) If installing Windows 11, you might only need to download the wireless driver to a USB and run the driver installer from there after Windows install to get connectivity. Afterwards, Windows Update will help you take care of the rest of the drivers, BIOS updates, etc.

[8 GB] I needed to replace a Windows based PC that was ready to retire. This Mac mini with M2 chip was the key. It boots up quickly and makes almost no noise unlike my old PC. Set up was quick and painless. It is a small compact package which is something I was looking at for a replacement. I needed it for basic day to day functions and won't be doing any type of design work. Again, it was a great purchase and B&H shipped it FAST!

[3.335 lb] At my desk, I have a Mac Mini and a Windows PC that I switch between from time to time. Before, when switching between them, I would be swapping over the wireless mouse dongle from the Windows PC to the Mac, as well as a wired keyboard. Needless to say, that was a pain of a process, especially with the Mac Mini under a monitor riser and the connections in the rear. Not great! I saw this product reviewed by Lon Seidman on YouTube and instantly knew I had to get it. Now, switching between the computers is much simpler. Just tap the switch button on my desk and switch the monitors input, and everything now works on the second computer. I'm even able to have my microphone carry over as well, which I never switched over previously! Additionally, if I ever want to use a different machine, such as my Surface or another Laptop, connected to my desk monitor, I can easily connect it to this switcher and use all of my desk peripherals in a snap. It's really great! The only negative I would say about this product is that in my setup the main box sits behind my desk against the wall, not in visual sight, so you can't see which computer is active before use or while you're switching. It's honestly not really a problem at all because you can quickly cycle through and find out if you're set to the device you're trying to use, but if I had to include a knock, that's the only one I've got!

[1x 7-Pin SATA] ... I installed Windows 10 64 bit on my PC. Nothing hot swap about it now that I can find. Under Windows 7 64 bit it was genuinely hot swap. It was the simplest thing to install and use. With Win 10 I need to power off the PC, remove the HDD installed, insert the required HDD and power on again. I can't find a solution so this is a last resort :-( . From what I've found it is a problem with Win 10 not the device. Nonetheless, with 4 HDDs ranging from 3 to 6 TB, it is a pain in the sitting apparatus it won't hot swap now. If there is a solution I'd love to know what it is.

[Yes] I wanted to enable voice commands with Windows 10 on my PC. I needed a mic, but most that I found initially were intended for podcasters or recording live music into a PC or laptop. In other words, too large and expensive for my needs. Yet, I wanted a mic of good enough quality that Cortana would accurately hear voice commands - even at a little distance. The Meteorite Mic has worked great so far, and it has a really small footprint on my desk. I use it to launch programs, search my local PC or the web. I imagine I'll find more ways to benefit from voice input over time. The brief instructions that came with it were sufficient to enable the mic in the Windows 10 settings.
