[0.04 lb] There are all manner of camera straps available ... Unfortunately for mirrorless camera owners, they seem to fall into two categories: thin utilitarian straps (factory strap falls into this category) and wannabe pro straps that are functional, but look like some bulked-up cat's cradle. I wanted something in the middle, so I figured I'd make my own. Historically I've hated camera straps, so it was important to me that I could remove it whenever it wasn't necessary ... or a liability (like on a tripod). I ruled out a handful of quick-disconnects immediately because they were essentially repurposed lanyard connectors; I didn't think they'd be up to the task. I narrowed it down to connectors from two manufacturers which appeared to be well-designed and found that: Though one of the competitors to these Op/Tech Mini QD Loops was no doubt stronger, I couldn't stand to use it because the part that attached to the strap was huge. It looked a little silly, but mostly it was uncomfortable to hold, whether under or behind my hand. I ordered the Op/Tech Mini QD Loops and found the size to be much, much more comfortable, and the connection to be very secure. Although they didn't have the brute tensile strength of their well-designed competitor, I only intended to use them with a mirrorless camera and they are more than adequate for that task. The lingering annoying issue with all disconnects, is that you usually have to use a connector to attach the connector. That's a lot of plastic connectors where your hand goes. So I decided to sew that half *directly* onto the strap. Problem solved. (I now make these straps under the brand name Simplr Camera Straps.) Thank you Op/Tech for making this very fine quick-disconnect! I believe it's the best overall quick disconnect for mirrorless cameras.

[Red] I would highly recommend this comfort strap for any DSLR or mirrorless camera. No chafing. No slippage. Weightless. Highly recommend. This is my third purchase of the Op/Tech Comfort straps for my third camera purchase. All straps (now over 15 years old) working just fine on my other two cameras...so it was a no brainer to purchase the same strap again.

[Nylon] I use these on two mirrorless cameras to connect to the stock camera straps. I take off the triangular D-rings and lace these through the lugs (which are nicely de-burred on mo OM-D E-M1's), so there's a minimum amount of clutter getting in the way of my hands and rattling while hiking. They are plenty strong - I carry the camera on a PD Capture Clip when moving and only use the neck strap when changing lenses or waiting/shooting. THese QD's make it easy to jettison the strap when I have a heavy lens (with it's own strap) mounted and when I want to work from a tripod for awhile without the strap getting in the way. The only criticism I have is that the release is hard to operate because the press points are rounded and slippery and tend to squirt away. I'm going to try texturing them with some coarse sandpaper next time I think of it....

[0.355 lb] Not much space on R5 Mirrorless camera to attach my straps so I had more movement with nature images. Found these D-Rings and they are the best to work with my BlackRapid Camera Straps.

[Yes] I have been using this strap for two years on a mirrorless camera, film SLR and film rangefinder. It's been fantastic not having separate straps taking up room in bags, it's comfortable, secure. Just perfect.

[0.48 lb] I like sling straps. My last one had a wide pad for my shoulder. This demonstrates that is unnecessary for today's mirrorless body and lenses. The ease of adjusting is also a plus...

[0.22 lb] I've been shooting DSLRs and later mirrorless for 12 years and I've always used hand straps. The SpiderPro Hand Strap V2 is the most comfortable and best looking one out there. I love it the way it curves to better fit my hand. I was skeptical about how durable and secure the top attachment point with the three holes worked, but it has been working very well so far.
