[100% analog] I ordered this dust cover for my Moog Subsequent 37 synth. Fits perfectly!

[4.835 lb] I love this synthesizer! It is Moog's updated version of the Sub Phatty, which now has 2-note paraphony, making it even better. I also love its simplicity. It allows you to create custom sounds and save them as presets. The synth has 16 presets installed and lets you download many other presets through the included editor software. If you're looking for a bare-bones synth that will allow you to learn the basics of subtractive synthesis and have that classic Moog sound, this is your lucky day. Get it! You won't regret it.

[49 Keys] I bought a Moog Subsequent 25 synth to see how I liked it. I am a guitar/bass player who enjoy playing classic and progressive rock like Zeppelin, Rush, Yes, etc. I really wanted something that I could use to get the tones for those earlier Rush albums. After playing the Subsequent 25 and loving it, I decided to get a Subsequent 37 as I needed at least one more octave for certain songs. It did not disappoint. There are way more presets on the Subsequent 37 and most are great as is. Well worth it.

[Synthesizer] Moog's developers have a way of mixing classic synth tech with a splash of new approach that results in keeping my learning curve high (which I like). Keep up the good work. B&H made ordering SO easy, and it was also on sale!

[Black] Top notch build and sound quality with the famous Moog sound. Everything about this synth feels right - the knobs, keybed, pitch and mod wheels. I did not need this synth but after playing it, I knew I had to have it.

[4.6 lb / 2.1 kg] This synth is one of the best poly multi timbral synths out there. It’s like oberheim, Moog , prophet have a common child. Sound quality and build quality are both notch. Build in effects are digital but sound good. I have minimoog model d, prophet 6, prophet x, polybrute, deep mind 12, Eventide h9000k, so I believe I know what I am saying. It’s become my go to synth now.

[Multidrive] I previously reviewed the Moog Mavis negatively due to the lack of VCF out but I feel that this is an unfair reflection of the product (every synth is not the same and this is not the Werkstatt). The Moog sound of this synth is very satisfying and fulfilling to experiment with (though I would like to figure out how to drive the added wave folding more aggressively), whether you're looking for a musical or more experimental sound. It's interesting that Moog decided to add some west coast sound with the wave folding (perhaps they may play with more in the future). The utility features of this synth make it pretty useful for playing with other synths (like the Werkstatt). For more inspiration check out the Patching with Intention patch book for the Mavis, and the Mavis Exploration Patch Book by Lisa Bella Donna.

[Analog] I already had a virtual Moog from Arturia Software, but it's great to have physical knobs to twiddle!
