[NAS] This is one of two cameras I purchased for a simple security system for my home. Hik-Vision products were recommended to me by friends with experience in real-world security. Purchasing the system from B&H was a breeze, given the level of expert advice I received from their customer service reps. This camera covers our front driveway and approach to our front door. Installation was easy after watching videos on the Hik-Vision website and You-tube. I mounted it to a 1/2 thick Starboard disk I made, to cushion the camera from my stucco eaves. It provides outstanding picture quality day and night. I appreciate the color images at night. I have not yet figured out the use of the built-in speaker/mic, nor all the parameters for receiving notifications of moving objects.

It produces a super clear picture with good color reproduction and detail. Low-light response is excellent. The app has lots of functionality. It detects motion, as well as sound, and will record on motion, with notifications to your phone so you know when unwanted people are in the house. What I really like is that there are no monthly fees like with many competing products. Great camera, great app, inexpensive. Check, check, check.
