[0.17 lb] I was looking for something to replace the holder that comes with Movi M5. This guy did the job!

[4.35 lb] I was a DJI guy with the ronin-m and the original ronin. Then when I looked into a new stabilizer I was between the Ronin 2 and the Movi Pro. After using both the Movi Pro was the obvious choice. One of the biggest issues I had with the Ronin was just the weight of it. Even with no camera on it it is almost twice the weight of the Movi. I use my stabilizer mostly handheld so the wight is a big factor. even with how light weight the Movi is it can still take quite a payload not as much as the Ronin 2 but if your not trying to run 30lb builds it is more then enough. I run a Red epic package with Cine lenses and a follow focus and it takes that like a champ. Freefly also has tons of accessories for the Movi to help and outfit it in anyway that you could think of. My only issue with the Movi is the top handle takes 4 little (easy to loose) screws that need to be put in every time it comes out of the case. for such an easy quick connect system I figured there would be a better way to attach the handle. I also wish it had the locks that the Ronin 2 has to help in setting up the camera package without it moving around.

[0.1 lb] Focus is the most important thing and this kit has to be factored into any gimbal as a combined purchased. Which is why i saved and went with the DJI Ronnin and not a Movi M5. Once added on, the additional weight becomes too much for the Movi M5 to bear. @ $2,600 with no case. The RONIN gives me so many options to keep for the long haul, wether i replace my canon 5d MIII or not. And as far as Movi stating that their freefly M15 systems has a full cage. I ended up going with another AMAZING red rock micro prodcut which is their Ultra cage for Gimbals and my shots looks STUNNING.

[28 lb] Unless you're renting in LA or NYC, it's nearly impossible to find a Vario 5 with a small operator vest. I'm 5'6, medium build (34 waist), and still need to tightly strap up on this rig. That tells me it'll fit someone taller and bigger than me. This rig is perfect for larger/heavier camera rigs and a Movi Pro. Fitted correctly, you don't feel any of the weight and I can see it working well with female operators as well. One thing Easyrig doesn't really make clear and immensely valuable to me is: The rig can quickly be raised and lowered about 5-6 inches. That might not seem like a lot but I'm short at 5'6 and the increased arm height allows me to raise the camera/Movi to film taller people without having to shoot up at them. It's just 4 screws that can be quickly adjusted within 2 minutes. Finding a proper hard case to fly with this rig is not easy/cheap. BUT the vest can be easily separated from the arm in order to make the entire rig smaller and portable. Just takes adjusting the same 4 screws. Also helpful if you want to throw on a standard/larger vest for other operators. The Serene Arm is amazing. Paired with a Movi/Ronin, proper handling, and rolling your steps, you can get some amazingly smooth footage. Remember to adjust the tension of your Serene Arm so it's parallel to the ground. Also remember to loosen the Serene Arm while traveling so you can safely bend it and make your rig smaller for packing.
