[Omnidirectional] I own 1st version of this Rode Wireless and I film a lot to my Youtube Channel. But it was not enough for interview. Now there are totally new approach to it. Love it - Record channel separately for each transmitter and as a result two channel for each person - markers which you can match for perfect lip-sync with ability to put it manually - backup channel with 20DB less level in case of recording in wind (my case) Thank you for so professional system!

[Preamplifier] The Polsen XP-2 2-Channel Microphone Signal Booster is not something I realized I needed until I started using it. I am using it to boost the signal on my desk microphone and it's connected through my Senal USB adapter which provides the phantom power. It can add up to 25db of clean gain which is impressive. I didn't realize the difference this would make until I actually hooked it up and started using it daily. I no longer have to be right up on my microphone to get a reasonable signal output. The other application I tried this out with was some interviews I recently shot where the interview subject was soft-spoken. Being able to get that extra gain really came in handy. I like that the xlr has locking connectors and that this is plug-and-play. It's made of all metal and feels rugged so it should hold up to some punishment over time. It works great, now the only issue is I have to buy another to match my other setup. [I have received this product in exchange for my honest review]

[65 W ] I read a long time about various multi channel amps before purchasing the Marantz 8077 and matching preamp. I'm beyond pleased with the clean, crisp power coupled up with my SVS Ultra speaker system!! Very satisfied especial in the price!
