[Convection] There are so many solutions to multi-source, multi-zone preamps, each one with their own pros and cons. What stands out with the RM64 aside from its known quality is the fact that its four output channels are balanced mono XLRs (of course you can route each two left and right channels for 2 stereo output channels). The micro switches are clearly intended for installations with little to no user input on the fly. We're using the RM64 for an installation where we route separate music and microphone signals to two individual PA installations to enable both areas to play house sound, and to air general announcements.

[8 Ohms] These speakers are great for the new stereo receiver. the whole thing was easy to set up. The sound is terrific.

[>-86 dB] This receiver has revitalized my 1980s stereo system by allowing Bluetooth transfer from my Sony Walkman (CD quality) and from an iPhone. When powered the receiver goes into pairing mode--your device remembers this receiver...you are connected. So far there has been no problem with connection or distance from the receiver. As this is my second unit (first attached to another stereo system) I only wish I could rename the unit as it comes up with the same name...only to be identified by the Bluetooth address. If you only have one of these, this will not be an issue. Attachment is simple: connect using RCA supplied cord to your receiver aux input. Having it on a switched plug on the receiver is very convenient. If not, you would have to push the light button to switch it into on mode. It has an auto off after a few minutes of not receiving a signal. It also has an optical connection.

[Latch] I can't believe that I'm able to 'throw' a portable 24bit/96k sound device into my single shoulder bag. The sound is incredible. I've been using a Rode stereo/video mic on a Panasonic TM 900 so the sound was decent. This is so much better. The stereo mic is really good, the differenc between 90 and 120 is very audible so it's nice to have both settings. The Mid side mic is a revelation. I did a series of 'grey card' tests with this MS mic and I'm having a blast using it for voice, interviews and singing, the adjustable stereo image allows it to be set so that it cuts through anything. From wide and ambient to a very narrow focus, really, really neat. I'm processing this all with the Adobe Creative Suite so the multi channel mixing in Audition is easy and ups my enjoyment level a lot. This adds a lot of fun to the process. I couldn't believe it really, just under 17,0000,000 divisions to the bit depth, 96,000 times per second, in your hand! Beautiful. Important to read the manual, I spent the best part of a day on and off, reading-experimenting and then the weekend just playing with tests and I'm really glad I did, the equipment will do just about anything but it is 'menu' heavy. Battery life seems beyond good. I'd read the concerns over the H4 battery life and the H6 claimed to be exponentially better, it is. I put 20 hours on the batteries that came with the unit and changed them out only because I didn't want to get caught. I'm looking forward to using this more and more, from live classical concerts with multi mic settings, to interviews with setup time, to quick and dirty just use the mic capsule, I think this machine will do it all. And you can use it as an interface.....

[3.35 lb] I have a home cinema Denon X3700h+Marantz MM8077 that powers 7 Klipsch speakers. I listen to a lot of music in stereo mode. The sound is amazing I love it and I thought it couldn't get any better. Until I got the Marantz pm6007... This little beast is just amazing. I know I compare an AV Receiver with a stereo amplifier but everybody told me "You don't need a stereo Amplifier, the receiver has a pretty good DAC". I'm so glad I didn't listen to them. I played a song to my Denon, and in the middle of the song I switched to the Marantz PM6007. And the sound comes alive. When the Receiver plays the song it's like I put a blanket on the speaker. But when I switch to Marantz - it's like I remove the blanket, the sound becomes more alive, more crystalline, and spatial. I love it and I strongly recommend to anyone who likes clarity in the sound

[Class-D] Using this to control wall speaker volume remotely to a stereo receiver in the next room. Works great working at line levels without having to have a huge high-powered speaker L-pad in the wall that eventually gets scratchy sounding and dead spots. Made by RDL which I've used in many custom installations in the past. Very reliable products, practically bulletproof! Had to get 2 for stereo.

I have an old stereo receiver which I use with a computer for tunes in my shop. A lot of noise and static was always being picked up by the cable, and rather than try shielded cables I decided to just utilize the optical output on the computer. Since the receiver didn't have optical capability, I picked up this converter to do the job. It does a great job, now there's no electrical connection to the computer and the noise is 100% gone.

[12.7 lb] Excellent stereo receiver. My one issue is the ability to change stations and set favorites on the FM band. Quality is very good for the money!
